To address a few things, Guys I love my job! If I didn’t then I wouldn’t be in this career. We all have bad days and the purpose of this vlog was meant for you guys to see some of the CONS of being an FA and a REALISTIC insight to what a last minute call to fly can look like while you’re sleeping in bed. This wasn’t meant to be a negative video complaining. We’re all allowed to have bad days at work. Thank you guys for your continued support! Thank you for sharing.😊 You are right about those early early morning calls!!!😊 They were not pretty at all for me either. And yes, I many times I would take a taxi directly to O'Hare Airport. And I am not a great morning person either. So, again yes, I agree with you about those early morning calls. That was my early years to flying but then as I got more senior and with being a purser, I as able to hold afternoon check-in schedules. Also, on my reserve months not being assigned early morning flights.😊

I work a set schedule and I'm still cranky when I have to get up, OF COURSE that's worse when your schedule is variable. People need to chill.

Reserve life is the worst! The other day, I had to sit ready reserve from 9-4 pm. Crew scheduling called me for a trip at 3:51 pm🫠

So many c u next Tuesday hard a s s es commenting on you expressing yourself. It’s not liked you bashed the work nor company. I can’t stand these types of people and thanks for sharing. I was with a regional and the scheduling had me all kinds of messed up, for such little pay.
Hi Joey, I realize this trip might have not been really good and you might have not gotten alot of sleep. But something to remember, only 1% of those who apply get hired by AA for a flight attendant position so you are very lucky.
I agree it was just one of those days ya know. That’s why sleep is important haha :)

Unsolicited word of advice, Be EXTRA CAREFUL of whatever you post. Being a FA is like any other job, you have coworkers and that’s it. Don’t make it hard on the union to help you out; nevertheless know when u will need them. Be safe and see you on the air bud 😉

Not to be rude but you are on rsv and entails you to be available at your call out time. In my experience, get to bed as early as possible so you can be ready.
I’m very well aware of rsv lol Unfortunately this was one of those times where I just couldn’t fall asleep until midnight
Wow!!!! A lot of negative vibes from this vlog. While the primary responsibility of a flight attendant is SAFETY, I wouldn't feel safe on your flights. Too much fatigue and apathy. I am an AADVANTAGE member coming up on 40 years and have always had stellar service. Maybe you need to seek another profession bro.
So from 1 video you automatically assume I dislike my job? We all have our good and bad days. I love what I do but obviously I’m not gonna be very upbeat and excited when I’m extremely fatigued, thank you for watching the video but respectfully your input really doesn’t speak any volume because you need to see it from my perspective, only 3 hours of sleep with a 15 hour duty day, you wouldn’t be very energized and upbeat either. Can you turn off your phone ? Or can you turn down the offer ?
No when you’re on call you’re REQUIRED to have your phone on and answer any call otherwise it’s a penalty. I also can’t refuse the trip I don’t have the option of saying no.
