Good day. I just want to thank you for these helpful tips. I have my ZV-1F for about a year now and I am frustrated because I can't use it the way I wanted it to. I've been deciding to sell it but after watching this video, I guess I would give it another try. Thanks a lot. :)
dude you genuinely seem like such a pleasant person, I just found your account and I really enjoy your content so far, both your photography and the overall style of your videos! very cool work, keep it up🙌🏻
Super helpful. Thank you! I didn't make half of these changes when I started, and I really like how these let me customize to be better for my interests.
Hey! Although I love this camera, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to everyone. It suits my needs, but it might not be the best choice for others because it only has a wide-angle lens (20mm or 18mm with an adaptor) and shoots only in JPG, not RAW. (Compared to JPG, RAW files contain more information, allowing more control in editing.) This camera works well for me since I don’t do heavy editing, I love the wide-angle perspective, and it’s the cheapest option in the ZV series (at the time when i purchase the camera) ! Also, this camera is designed for vlogging, so if you’re considering it for video, it might be worth a try. BUT personally, whether you're interested in video or photography, I’d suggest starting with your phone first. Try out the editing process and see if you enjoy it. If you find yourself feeling limited by your current gear, that’s when you’ll know it’s time to upgrade! This can help you avoid spending money on a camera that ends up just collecting dust on your shelf. Anyway, good luck on your journey! Sorry for the late reply, and I hope this reply still helps!
thanks so much for this video! I changed some of my settings and is really helpful, do you have some recommendations for videos/vlogs, I’ve been trying to find a way to have better quality and color on my videos, thanks ✨
glad it helps! colour can be a huge topic , im not pro in colour, (maybe will drop a video when I have more stuff in my mind) still learning.. but i really like to use this for vlog, a new video about vloggin setup is cooking !
Enjoyed your videos! It is easy to understand and straight to the point, but personally would like it if you would explain some terms that might be unheard of for beginners. I am just starting my photography journey with a recent purchase of this camera. That’s why a lot of terms like ISO is foreign to me XD. Anyways keep it up with the videos, like your style.
Thankyouuuu! I though of that, but I worry that video will be too long with those basic intros..I was thinking maybe I can create some basic exposure sharing , but seems like there is already a lot tutorial of that all around UA-cam..what do you think ? All the best for your photography journey ! ✨✨
Ahh that’s a fair point. At the end of the day just do what you like yah. Another suggestion from me would be like tips and tricks on how to get better angles on pictures or videos ig. Always got nagged by my gf saying my camera skills suck hahaha.
Owh that sound like another big topic that could have a series of tutorials 🤣 I feel related 🌚 I’ll get a little nervous when shoot with girls as well. Sometime especially when they care toooo much how they look on camera. You can look at model photography in this few simple perspective. 1) compositions 2) angle 3) pose 4) outfit So if you know you already good in 1 & 2 ( which most street photographers are) try to work on model poses and outfit/ colour match/ fashion on so on. It sound a-bit out of camera skill but it does help A LOT when you have these knowledge! Feed your brain more modelling /fashion pictures! *this can be a smooth excuse when she caught you looking at others girls picture as well………I’m just saying.🥸*
congratulation for getting one !! I think low is the only usable one, the other level are too much for my taste, but it really accurate tho ! happy creating !
Hi I use my camera to video fitness videos and i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but they're very grainy - this could be filmora but also when I move my face from facing front the brightness dims.. can you help with this.. I have my focus on Wide!
i normally shoot in M mode, there is no a setting that can suit all different environment, it's all depends on the light and effect i want , sometime i will use auto ISO. I belive there is lot of guide on understanding the exposure triangle on youtube , have a look 💪

For webcam: elgato 4K and Sony ZV-1f in AutoMode and WB (DAY LIGHT)...
HA, just got the zv-1f now, I was so surprised with the face smoothing :)). nice video
congratulation for getting one !! I think low is the only usable one, the other level are too much for my taste, but it really accurate tho ! happy creating !
@@BroccoliBeers ahahahah no no no you got that wrong. I don't use it AT ALL!!! It looked so strange :))

try to shoot in bright area! do you mean motion blur or it's not focus when you mentions blur?
@ no motion blur. I think it’s when my face isn’t looking at the camera it seems to go dark.
Fully supporting your journey! You’re doing great, this video was incredibly helpful. I just bought the camera for travel and street photography 🤍
Thankyou!!! 🍻
what do you typically use for the iso fstop and shutter when you go out with this camera? looking for some pointers
i normally shoot in M mode, there is no a setting that can suit all different environment, it's all depends on the light and effect i want , sometime i will use auto ISO.
I belive there is lot of guide on understanding the exposure triangle on youtube , have a look 💪
@ alright tyvm, but are there any tips with composition or anything? and any idea what white tone or smt would look goood for the SH creative look?
Have you ever try the ZV 1, which better according to you? Cause the ZV1 doesn't have wide angle but has ND filter in it. I'm confuse now😅
Never try other zv series 🙈but I think ZV 1 is better when comes to picture quality.
What Songs are used in your Video?
Especially i mean the first two jazzy songs.
ah sorry I missed your comment ! Im using songs from epicdemic sound !
i have a question, in this camera, how you set the Date Stamp or display date in every picture??
as long as you set the date correct in camera, you can always check the info on your computer by pressing 'more info'.
where did you get the sticker on the thumb rest and at the front of the camera?
Owh! That’s a grip sticker I got it on Amazon!
Between this and zv1 which one is better?
Zv1 as it has more features and raw support but its also $300 more lol
on paper ZV1 would be better~
Does it have S-log3 picture profile?
Yes it does !
@@BroccoliBeers Thank you!

@@BroccoliBeers will be the same for video settings?
Yea :)
Me doesn’t have the camera option
