THIS IS So PERFECT LIKE When Patroclus died, Achilles was so out of his mind not okay he killed the thing that would make him invincible... Like aaaaa thats the codependency sam and dean have, they would only be fully happy if the other one lives, they con't even care abt everything else or their own lives... (ENGLISH CLASS ANALYSIS TENDENCIeS) Like overall this song could be applied to them like Dean is like Patroclus in this sense maybe, like telling Sam that Sam should keep on living and to "overcome", to not give in to IDK JOINING HIM OR BRINGING DEAN BACK OR WHATEVER and vice versa everytime one of them "dies" arghhhh (IDK IF IM MAKING ANY SENSE IM SORRY I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS)
One of my favorite songs on a vid of one of my favorite shows about my favorite sibling relationship (even if it was extremely codependent). Loved the contrast of showing Sam's first death and Dean's last death (Yes show, you make weird statements like this possible)
And that's why the boys should have died together. They belong to each other - where you go, I go, if you jump, I jump and if we die, we'll do that together to. Yes the song speaks of finding the will to live, but Sam and Dean's is a tragic epic love story and can only end one way: "It ends bad, it ends bloody". Thanks for the video, it helps sustain my headcanon.
I completely agree with you. I would like to have done this following the song AND show's line of Sam carrying on with his life in the end, where the song ends with "is more corageous to overcome", but in all honesty, I just couldn't. It's just...THE SUICIDAL, MAN. IT'S ABOUT THE CODEPENDENCY
@@shatterandfry4364 I understand what you're saying but this is not the sense of this story. This was a tragic story (kind of Butch and Sundance, etc), its natural direction was toward death, not life. "Happy endings" are not always the best endings for any story. Usually heroes don't get to live an happily ever after. They die a meaningful dramatic death. Plus one big problem I see in this ending where Sam gets to live and have a son is the very fqct he has a son will inevitably separate him from his brother. When you have children, they come first. So when Sam hets to heaven, he'll be waiting foe Dean Jr.
Sam already went to heaven and he didn't wait there for his son. He went straight to Dean - in the pilot clothes, meaning that's his favorite memory. (Dean wore his pilot clothes also, meaning they are soulmates). If heaven hadn't been changed Sam and Dean would live together in this memory forever. 💖 Children do come first when they are little. Sam stayed alive until Dean jr. was an adult. Also his son set him free with the words: "It's ok. You can go now." And he did. To Dean. So don't worry, Sam and Dean's bond is as strong as ever. Even more so because they finally overcame death. 💙
Such a good video that I wish I knew enough about video-editing to have the words to explain why I love it! I know that makes a compliment feel more special, I just don't know how D: I do love it, though, of course!!

Even better, they should have lived together. Recovered from their trauma and seized a free world without Chuck.

Love the video, but it's kinda weird because Sam and Dean are brothers while Achilles and Patroclus were lovers.
Nothing weird;)
I know! That's also my gripe. If you imagine this song from Polydora's perspective, then it fits them well.
this was good but idk how to feel about the song choice...a bit wincest-y
The story of Achilles in this sense is very, very wincest
Yh it’s so gross 🤢 great song tho
@@silent_angel1575 you are gross)))
