The skeleton with the shotgun in the bathtub reminds me of I Am Legend. The protagonist sleeps in the bathtub with a loaded rifle and his dog at night when the movie's version of zombies come out. While it's a ghoul instead of a dog, it is close enough to be a possible reference.

Considering the advent of things like miniaturized nuclear reactors and microfusion cells in the Fallout universe it's possible that the fridge had its own internal power source.
When I first saw the bathtub scene with the skeleton and ghoul, I believed that the story is that a man and his wife/girlfriend were trying to survive together. The girl fell to ghoulishness and they were waiting to see if she became feral. They waited together and when the man realized she is becoming feral, he killed her to spare her life as a feral ghoul and then shot himself because he didn't want to live without her.

8:00 i think its a human that killed himself with the shotgun in the bathtub then on later years that ghoul mabye was a husband or some type of friend to the skeleton. And when the ghoul who was a person found the body didnt want to live anymore so the ghoul just sat there waiting on dying.
There’s another bathtub set up idylicly at the end of a dock with smokes and beer next to it, thought that was pretty cute and radioactively relaxing

7:33 it’s probably reference to I am legend. It’s a zombie movie where in one of the scenes will Smith is hiding with a gun in a bathtub

I don’t know if this has been discovered yet but there’s an ester egg for the cask of an amontillado, a short story by Edgar Allen po. It’s located in the basement of the castle
Blue is also a baseball term for the umpire. "COME ON BLUE, HE WAS SAFE!!"
In context with the game, the vault dweller makes the decisions, and determine which factions "strike out."
