Vote and petition to get exceptions into laws or overturn draconian laws. There should be exceptions. The election of 2016 is to blame for this issue, which is also why we should vote against the GOP this fall.
Beside voting? Shower your politicians with angry emails. People elected usually have an office watching what arrives. If enough people complain, they might chamge something.
Even a clear "danger to the mother"-clause would improve the current situation.

Do not sympathize with those doctors. They took an path to do no harm to patients. That oath also applies to when you're afraid of getting in trouble. If I were that woman, I would have made every doctor in that hospital feel like utter failures. "You're a failure. and you're a failure. And doctor over there, you are definitely a failure"

One note, at 17 weeks the fetus DID NOT HAVE A HEARTBEAT because the heart isn't formed yet. The machine reads an electrical imulse in the circulatory system and registers it as an audible beat, but it's not a hearbeat.

pay for daycare?

pay for the child's medical care until 18?
And pay for contraception?
