I wouldn't use that crank if your a newbie. It's a bad idea,pull both flywheels over to start it.
It's not mine, but he has probably been using it for 30 years. Knowledge and using it correctly is key for sure!! Thank you
What is the reason for the miss. Great engine by the way.
Thank you. Think of it as a way to conserve fuel. When the first combustion engines were designed and sold , not everyone had access to a ton of fuel, so they had been designed to run at a certain rpm. To maintain this rpm, it may only have had to fire once for every 10 revolutions. The large flywheels help with the coasting and momentum. As the engine is put under a load powering something, it will fire more frequently like a normal 4 stroke engine you are used to. As the load was removed, the engine would conserve fuel again. Hopefully, that makes sense, and thanks for watching.
