I remember when this music video came out I found a comment that explained it very well and I honestly think it was the closest one to the actual message: The white haired guy represents her new life,her fame and all that stuff,but after some time she is tired of it and feels trapped,so she decides to get back to the normal life she had before,which is represented by the dark haired guy,but eventually she realizes that her new life and her old life are now tied together,so there is no way she could get rid of one of the parts and can get back to the life she had because that new experience she wants to abandon is now actually a part of her. Filming in general is more expensive in the UK. It costs more to hire studios, cameramen, filming equipment etc, plus then when you incorporate the currency exchange, filming a video in the US costs half of what it does to film the same video in the UK.

Sarah Taylor I think the dark-haired boy was in love with her and the blonde boy just want to use her so when she let him use her the dark haired boy realised he wanted her back which is why he went to the party, but he felt so out of place because it wasn't his world. Then she realised what was more important to her and ran to the dark-haired boy but he was doing a photoshoot to try and be in her world. The moral of the story is, you don't have to change for someone to love you.

I think the boys in the video reflect her past life and the after life, when she got famous. As we see at the beginning the blonde guy "forces" her to take part at a photoshoot. Then, we see her with all the fancy clothes and makeup while at beginning at the video she's with her friends with a simple outfit. Then, she goes out with the blonde guy and the brown-haired guy sees them.. this guy reflect her past life which apparently has forgotten.
