really good at first but getting deeper into it it kinda starts to lode some of the core components of the original song from sonic mania and starts to sound like any old dubstep song.

wordd, thanks for the thoughts. The genre is Future Bounce or Tropical House - dubstep is faster/different instruments. I intentionally made it deviate from the original at times because I want it to sound like strong dance music!
