6 years after this vid's release and it's still relevant. I just bought this as my first nail gun. I've only operated electric and butane-powered ones before so I wanted to check and see how a pneumatic one differed, but all the videos I saw were ridiculously over the top. This one checked boxes in a simple, straightforward manner. Thanks!
Excellent vid.. just got this awesome little nailer... it's the end of the day....and my kitchen floor trim is DONE!! Thanks for the heads-up on this sweet tool!!
Thanks. Bought this today at HD because of this review. Very affordable quality product at a bargain price.
Just bought new R250SFE nailer based on this video overview. Price was on sale @ HD at $139 with items shown. Now starts the work! Thanks...
That's awsome Frank. Thanks so much for sharing that with me, and have fun using that bad ass nailer
Just bought a Rigid brad nailer with my new compressor and wanted an instructional video of the nailer --- JOB WELL DONE :)
Thank Duff! I'm glad it helped.
I just picked up this exact gun second hand today. It was advertised as needing a new O ring so I opened it up and took a look at it. I found a website that sells the rings and ordered them right away. Hopefully that's all it takes! I like that this unit seems to have better features than the Porter-Cable that I've been borrowing..
So OP, if still alive, any update?
Great video,It really helped us a lot. Off to finish the porch........
Awesome to hear Theda! Good luck!
Great video thanks and I agree what a great nail gun
Thank you for this video. Too bad the Ridgid documentation is not this good, even 6 years later. The only difference is the exhaust setting.
Great video, thanks. My model is a bit different but close enough to follow you.
My nail pusher won't stick at the bottom of the magazine when I'm loading nails like I see your nailer doing.
Great vid!!
I can’t figure this thing out lol. The nail slider doesn’t lock. Is there a trick to make it stay at the bottom to load nails. Then to remove nails it’s extremely unintuitive. Maybe user error. Instructions are awful so any advice is appreciated.
I love rigid tools.
What's the difference between the RIGID 16 gauge Straight Finisher model R250SFE enfuego and the R250SFF? Besides price
Would this be sufficient to attach pickets to a white picket fence? I would prefer to not buy a bigger tool if I don’t have to because of the weight. Thank you! Very comprehensive review.
Hi Laura, yes it would work, but you may want to look into the Ryobi battery powered nailers tool> Very portable, and I keep hearing how great they are.
18 gauge have too small a head to properly hold a picket.
Deck screws 1 5/8.
2-1-1 pattern. Heavy wind, 2-2-2. Heavy soil shift 2-1-2.
Don't care 3 year old comment, information must be shared.
@@justtime6736 : Thank you!
Thanks for this instructive video. I an shopping for a new 16 gauge nailer and picking all the info on the
nailers available to choose one to buy. Do you know the weight on this nailer? Thanks
Thanks man for how to load it
Very good
Got mine and two days and the pad at the tip fell off.
The new guns have a tiny no mar tip.
Anyone experience the depth wheel
Locking?
Just bought this gun, out of the box the nail loading mechanism does not stay down as in any videos. Any tips?
Mine didn`t either . I returned it and the new one didn`t either.
@@tpack670 you need to hold it down. I found out it is not locking
@@joeycorcoran4763I just got the combo for Xmas and mine wouldn't lock either, so that's just the way they come, they don't lock we just gotta hold it down?
Will any brand of nails work?
Any brand bruh, just stay within specs. Gauge and length.
Home Depot gas a deal. 3 air tools with a compressor and hose $299
$199 online currently. $100 off online.
Christmas they go in sale foe 199$
good info but bad recording.
Bought 1 yesterday taking it back today piece of shit nails hang up ever 2 or 3 shots pushing the nails on top of each other
Sounds like every online 1* review by an idiot user lol
