This content holds up in the 2020 version of AE! The only change is adding the variable to the formula after you drag the little squiggly, instead of before. Other than that, it's perfect. Thanks!
i have a problem, cause the spectrum layer is too small the waves cut to the edge of the layer and if i make the layer bigger the whole thing gets bigger. and the bouncing thing just makes the logo bounce WAY TOO MUCH even though i added *0.5
@@xplayz4578 for the first one just move the audio spectrum position at the bottom of the layer or lower max height and the magnify is a bit awkward to control the limit so im going to have to get back to you on that one
It's just a times number for the speed of it and how much it will react. It gives it that bit extra. You can use *0.5 for smaller react and *2 for double at the end of the expression

Are you talking about the expression icon? also like I mentioned in the video, make the scale of the image a little bit bigger so you still have some parts of your picture outside the video so you don't see black lines
Yes I think I got it to work that tool it wasn't set up like yours but however I did resize the photo I used twice while watching this video. Do you have social media or an email so I can show you what did?

The easiest way I can think of is to times or divide the expression by a number so for example *2 or /2 at the of the expression. Or if you get more complicated then it's more on the coding side which I personally still have more to learn about it

It's background the same as the logo but you just put the adjustment layer above your background Make an adjustment layer above your background. Add "magnify" effect on to adjustment. Set the magnify on 100% and scale on 1500 then hold alt and click the stop watch near the magnify percentage and type 100+then drag your pick whip to your amplify layer.

MusicForDays it’s okay! you’re gonna go to the right side of the screen where there are a bunch of tabs. There should be one that says “preview”. Click on that, and there should be a “fps” setting. Change it to 29.97
It all depends on how much, the better the more expensive but most modern computers are fine and best editor would be Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas which is easier to learn
You'd probably need a third party plugin for that since default vegas won't have an audio visualizer. But i can take a look if you want and make a vid on it if i find something
I literally did 1:1 what you did but except for my video being at 80% scale neither of the two effects have ANY influence onto the video... dunno wtf Im doing wrong but I will try my hardest, thank you anyways!!!

Yeh you could but with scale you'll just need to limit the max size because it can go pretty crazy with it haha

For that you'll need to wrap it around the shape by using the pen tool and using paths

Hi, When I do the opacity command for the logo and connect it to the slider, the logo disappears?
The top one is suppose to because that's the gradient but if you only have just the logo then you could just leave the opacity or start it from 50%

Yeh you can use your logo just crop it in your photo editor then it's easier then just make sure it's always the top layer

In the "preview" section of your toolbar, make sure the framerate is at 60 for your music. That happened to me too, and that should fix it.
