Right in the middle of a beautiful and brilliant album!
But would it really, there is no doubt this wonderful song should have been released on a Beach Boy original album but as the showcase of an album.
For me would have been perfect for 15 Big Ones.

Yeah, it's a Dennis song! It was originally going to be on the final running order for Surf's Up, but was left off because he felt it sounded nothing like what's on the rest of the album, iirc.
Good thing Student Demonstration Time fits so well with the rest of album.
