The stuff on Wells is ultra-concerning but not surprising because that's the kiwi mentality. However, Doull's clearly not been watching domestic cricket because he'd know that Rhys Mariu (23yrs) is averaging 71 in FC; Mitch Hay (24yrs) is averaging 48 in FC; Bevon Jacobs (22yrs) has an IPL contract and averages 33 in T20s; Heaphy (21yrs) is averaging 50 in List A.
whi wldve played for southee? we dont hve bowlers in hand to just throw in in a test series against england. they all too busy cramming franchise t20 cricket in.
@@St_AngusYoung I think that pitch at Hamilton would have suited Smith's bowling. He bangs it in hard and the variable bounce would have made him more dangerous. Let's face it, poor old Southee was treated with distain by England's batsmen and that was pretty sad to see. He deserved better than being thrown to the wolves like that.
@@St_AngusYoung Smith is a new ball bowler. Everyone said the same thing about Henry when he was only ever given an old ball to start with. Had he been given the new ball, he'd more than likely have taken more than the 2 wickets Southee got in the entire series with the new ball.

Zakary Foulkes , Jacob Duffy , Nathan Smith should not have been dropped for Southee
