The fact that Warrior Within only sold 800,000 copies just blows my mind. It was such a good game! They really improved on everything from the first, especially the combat
It's a good game overall but the thing about roaming the island and passing from the same places again and again is a little bit annoying but the time travels are ultimately good
@@sid5136 Yeah I could see that. It didn’t really bother me back then because the areas are almost completely different between past and present, and the upgraded combat was so nice lol. Plus whenever in the present the Dahaka was always nearby so it didn’t seem as monotonous to me lol

Personally, I think Warrior Within, despite it's flaws, was certainly the most impactful of the series. While it may not necessarily be their "best", so many elements made it so memory, chiefly, the frequent chase scenarios with the Dahaka. Never have I played a game that made running for your life feel so dire, yet incredibly rewarding once you succeeded. Such an amazing adrenaline rush from those moments!
Adam Luther I almost pissed my pants every time Dahaka chased me. It was so fucking scary, and damn I was just a kid at that time. Even now thinking about that gives me chills.
Warrior within best for gameplay, Sands of Time best for story. But I think overall Warrior within better as it has a lot more thrill and mystery and the moving in and out of past and present was awesome
Warrior Within was the pinnacle of the series. Unfortunately, it was such a radical shift from the first game that there was shock value that turned people off. Sadly, the world of Warrior Within was ahead of it's time by about 10 yrs. If it was released today, it'd be a massive success. Two Thrones was still great but it was a lot lighter in delivery.
The Sands of Time is the pinnacle of the series. THe Sands of Time had better soundtrack and story. I still listen to The Sands of Time soundtrack to this day.
Warrior within had the story and environment that one cannot forget easily... It was rather an experience than normal timepass like sands of time and two thrones
I can appreciate dark and gritty games but sometimes warrior within came off like it was trying just a bit too hard to be "edgy" especially with its soundtrack. Loved the game still.
Even if it was released today as a sequel of a romantic Persian adventure game like SOT, it would still throw a lot of people off. I loved Farah, always protected her, and felt really sad when she died. Warrior Within was unrecognizable, I personally didn't like it at all when I got it for the first time, I just returned it the same day after playing it a little. Then I got it again a few weeks later and really liked it. Played it a ton, more than SOT, it's one of my favorite games, but I'm still divided as to which one is better. SOT is a love story, as POP should be. If you didn't like the love story, then WW is definitely the best.
@Ivan Prince of Persia Kingred Blade was open world but than they cut things out and changed a lot so it become The Two Thrones. Ubisoft is the only publisher who takes risk with their games like Far Cry Primal or Blood Dragon. I think that we will get some day a new Prince of Persia, but not an AAA game, maybe an Indie title. I would absolutly freak out! Played Sands of Time yesterday and finished and starting Warrior Within and its crazy how much love it is in there. Don't get me wrong i love Assassins Creed also but they but all the work in the beautiful open world but other than that its lifeless and always the same...
Farah! The story in "Sands of time" were so nice and romantic, that I felt warmed up as I saw the increasing relationship between Farah and the Prince. It was more like a fairy tale from 1001 nights with some kind of dramatic end, due to their happening love.
EXACTLY JUST LEGEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CRIED WHEN FARHA DIED AND I HATED IT WHEN SHE COULD NOT REMEMBER IN THE END! I WISHED FOR A DIFFERENT LOL JUST LOVED HER TOO MUCH!
kevstew26 the Prince of Persia series was already going down but the new fresh idea of assassins creed got so much sales that it hastened the fall of Prince of Persia but I hope they do a reboot for the series with a new engine a controls
as if assassins creed got even remotely close to the awesomenes of PoP:Warrior Within fighting system. it's so braindead. hit or parry, that's all you need for 95% of the fights.
Prince of Persia warrior within and two thrones were both amazing, but I really liked warrior within because of its dark, gothic atmosphere and story. It really did suit the prince.
in all fairness you are correct, unfortunately the sands of time games were made at a time when big developers had to put effort rather than money in to get people interested.
prince of persia warrior within was my first pc game, and bloody hell I was lucky to start off with that one, it was glorious back then, it is glorious no, the level design, story, enemies, music .. everything is awesome
that... would be a great twist to have in an AC game. Being an assassin tasked to assassinate the Prince of Persia... before he fuck up the timeline. Damn, that would make AC story crazier, as if The First Civilization "magic" plot isn't crazy enough.
With AC becoming less about the assassins vs the templars, and more about being just damn good historical games with a touch of fantasy thrown in, I would love to see them do Assassin's Creed: Persia. Bring it full circle.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time was a game that blew my mind when I first played it. It was so colorful, so vibrant, so alive (despite taking place in a nearly dead kingdom). Animation was absolutely perfect, and looks more real in places than the modern games. The acrobatics were unlike anything I've seen before. The story was absolutely perfect, and it could've ended there (unlike Assassin's Creed), but it also had the potential for expansion. The soundtrack was and still is my favourite game OST to the date (along with Morrowind). The combat system was decent, but I still had troubles with how difficult certain enemies were sometimes. The concept of time manipulation was one of my favourite things about the game. One of the best games I've ever played. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within was like a glass of wine; dark, but enjoyable. It was not as colorful as SoT and gave a pretty good feeling of a dead place. It was, like all games in SoT Saga, very well animated. Graphics were okay for the time, and the amount of scantly dressed women with swords was just right. Acrobatics were not much different than SoT, but were expanded, which was a polish of a good thing. The story wasn't as good as SoT, but I liked how it focused on the more dark and selfish side of Prince, rather than being a standard hero game. Soundtrack was, in a way, almost as good as that of SoT. It never quite fit there 100%, but it was awesome nevertheless. The combat system was among the best I've seen in any game; much more dynamic, brutal, and tactical than any other game I've played in my life. It was the beacon of WW. The fact that the game wasn't 100 linear was at the same time good and bad; while it allowed more freedom and combat, it also broke the immersion. But the single greatest attribute of the game was how it fluctuated between the feelings of being a demigod, and the feelings of absolute fear when Dahaka appeared somewhere. Chase sequences of this game are not easily forgotten, which may or may not be a good thing. All in all, it was a good game. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones was the pinnacle of some aspects of SoT saga. It was an improvement over WW in means of colours and graphics (although some meshes were lackluster even for that time) and the animation was as good as always. Acrobatics were further expanded, and were at their peak in TTT. Story was superior to that of WW and kinda reminded me of SoT. The OST was the only one that was not good for listening as standalone music, but did wonders to gameplay immersion, and was much more diverse that either SoT and WW. Combat was slightly toned down in comparison to WW (no dismemberment or strangulation) but was significantly extended by introducing assassinations (first sparks of Assassin's Creed here) and Dark Prince's berserk fighting style, making it the true definition of free-form combat, and the overall best combat system in SoT Saga. A fitting end to an epic saga. One that shall always have a special place in my heart.
The story of WW is objectively the best out of all the three. SoT and TTT have one-dimensional story where you are the hero and there is a main villain. That's so cliche, it hurts me. While WW is a story which opens up slowly. Half of the time you don't even know who the real enemy is, plus there is no real villain. Everyone was doing their jobs and trying to save their lives. There was suspense, tension and confusion. That's what a game needs. The revelation after the first Kaileena fight, the Sandwraith, the Dahaka chase and the two endings are the best things in WW that tops all of SoT and TTT.
Prince of Persia will forever hold a special place in my heart. Warrior Within is one of my all-time favourite games and although it was plagued by bugs and riddled with flaws, it was a very enjoyable game. What killed the series for me was The Forgotten Sands: No combos, stale and boring combat.
Cadmea I never encountered any bugs in W.W.. What system were you playing on? I had an Xbox 360 for that 1. The only weirdness was some of the goofy weapons you might find like that big white glove or hockey stick
Best story,plot-Sands of time Best combat, horror feel(No Farah or support characters)-Warrior within. Most fun,Action-The Two Thrones 38 Likes! You guys rock!
I feel like Sands of Time is extremely dull to play nowadays, compared to the more modern affordances of Two Thrones. And the technical issues are a problem that Two Thrones irons out, especially with the sound design.
What ruined Warrior Within was the music. I am not opposed to metal but it was very missplaced. The arabian magic feeling was only in Sands of Time and Two Thrones
Oh hell yea I'm waiting and I would bet money that Prince of Persia will return one way or another in the next gen consoles. If they aren't already thinking about it, they will probably start soon. Yes AC was good for what it was but how long is it going to last? They know that people still remember and love PoP. It's just a matter of time the way I see it. And from an economic point of view, the game will sell even if it's crap, let's be honest, I think it has a huge audience of older and newer gamers.
Nope but we are still waiting in 2022, the new one should be released in the spring, i only have to wait a few months but u have to wait another 2 n 1/2 yrs. It must suck being in the past. ( better get your sand of time to meet me in 2022 ;) .
The Prince of Persia was one of the best franchise ,sadly ubisoft replace it with assassin’s creed .i hope that Prince of Persia will make a comeback for all the fans.
All 3 of them were awesome they take me back to my childhood massively! Sands of time blew my mind but warrior within had me hooked from the off! I miss being a kid with no worries 😭 playing these games for days on end ** and forgotten sands
We'll by the end see the rewind mechanic reused by Dotnod in their games. The creator of the company worked on the serie and left ubisoft before the release of pop 2008.
Yeah it had nothing to do with the fact that the game had poor sales. Did Ubisoft fuck you when you were young and that's why you are so mad at them? Lol.
AK UNIVERSAL he might be trying to convince them to let go AC already :p they've got their heads so high in its a** they can't think of anything else XD
Dedition Nope It’s Ironic. The Sands of TIME trilogy made the franchise skyrocket to fame and fortune when it was about to stay in the past and it was also irl time/stalling of the franchise that killed it. Him saying ”time killed the franchise.... iconic” doesn’t make any sense lol
The Prince of Persia II Warrior Within was pretty awesome. The combat actions and the control that you had on the moves and sword fightings were superb. Also, the story was really cool. There were lots of ups and downs in that game that were quite amusing.
Absolutely. Warrior Within is love. It was difficult and had many great things in it. Sucks to see my favorite game franchise die. The Prince of Persia Reboot was absolutely garbage because it was way too easy. There was no concept of death in it while in Warrior Within I would feel uncomfortable if I didn't die every 5 minutes. I really want a decent PoP reboot.
skormm SoT may have triggered it and yes it was a classic but WW perfected the series, especially combat. SoT if played today, combat feels overly repetitive and boring but not with WW.
No it's not silly at all.The music, the added stuff with the swords and hp boost, the story, everything about this game is amazing and special.WW is the best absolutely and it's so underrated.
Sad Whisky can't disagree about combat and fighting skills that were improved in WW, were better. But story line, graphics, eastern metal riffs and quiz, TSOT is the winner.
The Two Thrones is my all time Adventure+Action game! It was so amazing that nobody can replace it. Their sales were down bcz the new gamers of new era have no idea to of that greatness. And also the Old gamers tried the AC bcz it was something new,Literally, that's only reason of old gamers but they didn't ever thought that their move to AC will be like this. Hope you all understand what I wrote.😓
Assassins creed didnt kill it. It wouldve still been a good franchise if ubisoft took the time to make it so. Sands of time was perfect, the other two very close to that. The 2008 prince game was beautiful and interestin but very repetitive and not something that most people wanted. Had they made a good game based on sands of time, the game wouldve sold much much better. And I'd say that the forgotten sands killed prince of persia because that was such a bad cash grab.
denz not even that, the mechanics were pretty good. I think the majority of pop fans wanted more of a classic pop game rather than something new and ambitious.
@@reezek3956 there is the Epilogue, which goes a bit further than original game but it also ends on a cliffhanger. They had ideas for a sequel that were smashed by AC's success.
I grew up playing both the original Assassin’s Creed and the 2008 Prince of Persia. I played Sands of time and Warrior Within when I was reaaaaaally young, but even though it’s not that great of a game, the 2008 will always be my favorite, mainly due to the story and lore.
Prince of Persia : Warrior Within was the best for me! So many nostalgic memories...if only Ubisoft could make me relive those days by making a remake like Resident Evil did! It will bring tears in eyes of many fans worldwide😢....
Me too, not for long after acknowledged how the game' works, but still enjoy it xD... creed r open world type, a bit confusing and a kind of loop, but not bad tho...still prefer p.o.p 😉
Lilian Sondakh you r right but after completing the game you may play side missions and now I have completed origins and trying to finish the curse of the Pharaohs
A game that has the least to do with what the series is. I remember when Diablo 3 was announced and gamers made fun of how colorful it is. Because Diablo is supposed to be a dark game. Same with PoP, only the other way around. PoP is supposed to be a magical colorful fairytale. I love WW but it's funny to me that it is considered the best when it almost completely lacks the true heart of the series. Maybe people don't actually like PoP at all and that's the problem?
Ubisoft stated once that the copyright for prince of Persia is still hold by its original creator and they had to pay a royalty for every game in the series which made their profit margins lesser than it looks That’s why they are focusing on original ip
Got to be honest, I love POP 2008. Sure the combat and difficulty of the game was easy, but hot damn the story and atmosphere of the game was amazing. It's my personal fav of the series. And the character interaction, the little small talk they do and the fact that most of the story is given to you when you initiate the dialogue. Also the Prince's personality in that game... man sorry, I gushed a little.
Nimja1 - Dat Girth It was certainly a good game, it just wasn’t as good as the classic games. My biggest problem with it was going from one section of the map to another, it took a loooonngg time.
What PoP 2008 had was an amazing springboard to create an even better sequel. Elika is such a great character, and their combos together were fantastic; the wall running was so much fun but it just needed a bit more progressive storytelling and better all over combat. Love it to bits despite its flaws. Such a beautiful game!
I enjoyed it a lot as well. The atmosphere was great and I loved the side character. The graphics were beautiful. And surprise, surprise...I don't really care for Assassins Creed, not my kind of game.
WW is a masterpiece. as a child i used to focus on gameplay and Dahaka chase scenes which are so perfect that i wont even mention it now but as a grown up, for nostalgic reasons I went back and watched walkthrough, it has the best and deepest story ever, which is not surprising cause it is based on Arabian Nights stories. those 3 games really were ahead of its time for 10+ years. two thrones has a great story too, which i missed as a child but makes so much sense now
I wouldn't call it the best game of the series, but definetely a great game. The Sands of Time had better soundtrack and story. I still listen to The Sands of Time soundtrack to this day.
everything about warrior within was awesome THE SOUNDTRACK ,the animation, the secret levels, and especially the women, and who can forget dahaka, still i am stuck in the last dahaka level.....
I don't like the sands of time. They're rough and coarse, and irritating... and they put me in all kinds of shit forcing me to see my own daddy die two times over the course of three games
Far as im concerned, the real Prince of Persia (not the reboot shit) started with Sands and ended with Thrones. Prince of Persia did not die. It concluded. What died was the poor attempts at rebooting it.
It's placed between Sands of Time and The Warrior Within. EDIT: Yes, I totally agree with you! But it was another PoP game..... I don't care if it was canon or filler. As a PoP fan I just had to play it! And I loved it!
they could have done that with the year in wait for the new assasssin's creed , last year was a perfect timing for a new POP , when the AC games fatigue was showing , and by today's standards Gaming is more popular than ever , no one heard about The Witcher 3 before although 2 games of the series were already up . the Fans will spread the word Ubisoft just have to grow balls and believe in the POP Legacy
I don't think so. I'm a huge POP fan, but it's not a money maker. It's a niche product, with limited amount of sales. From a business perspective there is no reason to keep making the games.
Versifyd nice mention of metro. Those games are fucking amazing. The book is great aswell, i suggest it for anyone. I loved listening to the audiobook hearing him explain certain situations and locations. Me reconizing them from the game. It really helped me visualise when listening. Some Things are different in the books tho
And not to mention that the gameplay being multiple times simpler than WW, it allowed us to stay close to the story, rather than the controls and reflexes.
Why no mention to forgotten sands. BTW sands of time has best story and warrior within with best combat. I think it would be best for ubisoft to reboot POP in 2018 with better and best graphic designs.
they should reboot the Two Thrones and make it free roam and give you the ability to change to Dark Prince at will, of course you cant change back unless you have water.
Renn Stkevid Loloy that could work, but I think it is unlikely as Prince of Persia is known for linear-style gameplay, pretty much. Or at least, in my humble opinion
MetallicRevengeance well thats why there are mission sequence in free roam games where you can progress the story from there. And since Babylon is freakin huge and is under attack, Ubi could use the territory style or whatever you call it. Like freeing a section of Babylon, something like that.
Sleep well, sweet prince.

SOT is a love story, as POP should be. If you didn't like the love story, then WW is definitely the best.
Assassins Creed and Far Cry killed it, along with Ubisoft's lack of acknowledgement to the Prince of Persia franchise
Panda Piller and God of war
jacky yo how god of war?
But I think it was worth it
Panda Piller ever since I played Far Cry 2 I've been hooked, I thoroughly look forward to playing with my best friend Boomer
far cry had nothing to do with it
Prince of persia will never die 😢 i will never stop waiting for a new prince of persia
me neither
Wait 1 more year.
@@nikhilrajbhar why?
@Ivan i have been imagining it since day 1
I can't believe that Warrior Within sold just 800k....
Prince of Persia's storyline is so good
Came from who? well, i dont trust them for ruining such A fine game.
atleast they could have opened it for further development mods..
Warrior Within is the best and my favorite game ever .
Samyak T 100%
I remember feeling very excited at the very very end of Two thrones when the prince starts the story telling.
I still remember the moment when he said just call me "Kakolukia". It was very nice.
I was annoyed with Farah always getting in my way and always having to protect her. She was too much of a nuisance.
You saw that sex scene XD
What Killed The Prince Of Persia Series? Assassin's Creed.
There you go, saved you 7 minutes.
kevstew26 the Prince of Persia series was already going down but the new fresh idea of assassins creed got so much sales that it hastened the fall of Prince of Persia but I hope they do a reboot for the series with a new engine a controls
AC was the new PoP
i already know it was AC that kill POP series but still see this video
as if assassins creed got even remotely close to the awesomenes of PoP:Warrior Within fighting system. it's so braindead. hit or parry, that's all you need for 95% of the fights.
Thank you!
sands of time had an amazing story line. Anyone remember "Kakolookiyam"?

That rewinding sound tho awersome
First game I ever had, I love it
Wow I remember that word often! Great to hear others do too! Nostalgic high school days remembered when sands of time was the most fun thing to do!
Assassin's Creed killed it
fazeel ashraf was just about to type that
But assassin’s creed is a pirince of persia game
Silver Hedgeho no its not wtf lmao
Couldn't agree more~
Dragonx123 actually, AC was originally going to be called assassins creed prince of Persia.
Prince of Persia warrior within and two thrones were both amazing, but I really liked warrior within because of its dark, gothic atmosphere and story. It really did suit the prince.
I remember warrior within was a huge shift in atmosphere from the first game. As an 8 year old kid I found it a lot harder as well.
Rezquot Ripple and dahaka still gives me nightmares
You guys are all correct! I Legitimately WANT The series to be remastered , I don't want to forget these amazing experiences :(
warrior within was complete dogshit
Sands of time was a classic.
Sands of Time IS a classic.
All three are.
Better than any assassins creed
in all fairness you are correct, unfortunately the sands of time games were made at a time when big developers had to put effort rather than money in to get people interested.
and will always be ^.^
Warrior within will always be one of my all time favourite games. Imagine merging the assassins creed and prince of persia series now. It will sell

+Sir Raven yeah was about to say that
+Sir Raven thats when he kills one of the brothers in the pleasure house I think it's the same animation and it's only once in the game
DarkBlade Sure is,nice to meet a fellow dishonored fan. It's one of the best games ever conceived imo
that... would be a great twist to have in an AC game. Being an assassin tasked to assassinate the Prince of Persia... before he fuck up the timeline. Damn, that would make AC story crazier, as if The First Civilization "magic" plot isn't crazy enough.
Warrior within with the Godsmack soundtrack is one of the best game ever
Avalon Phoenix finally someone who understands me
Made my Day!
Inge Koshmidder I been waiting for people like guys almost whole my life people who actually love this game
Agree. Best fck game.
d_qnis I agree I should make a facebook group just for prince of Persia
With AC becoming less about the assassins vs the templars, and more about being just damn good historical games with a touch of fantasy thrown in, I would love to see them do Assassin's Creed: Persia. Bring it full circle.
well AC: Mirage then lol
Assassins Creed is based on Persian history, I actually don't know why they haven't bring it to Persia yet.
Nice analysis!
i agree with everything except that warrior within had not a strong story.
Someone reply to my comment so I never lose this gem
There are some really colorful places in warrior within, like the garden tower. And don't forget the time travels and the two endings.
Cadmea U R right.
You're right. Warrior Within is so underrated. I love the time travelling.
Warrior Within one of my fav games as well. Loved it & have many nostalgic memories from that game.
But those bugs were really annoying, man...
Cadmea I never encountered any bugs in W.W.. What system were you playing on? I had an Xbox 360 for that 1. The only weirdness was some of the goofy weapons you might find like that big white glove or hockey stick
The sands of time trilogy is still one of the best videogame trilogies of all time. The ending was just perfect.
Cough cough... Ezio

@SkyOut Yeah best graphics goes to prince of persia the forgotten sands, best art style is prince of persia (2008)
@SkyOut bet
I feel like Sands of Time is extremely dull to play nowadays, compared to the more modern affordances of Two Thrones. And the technical issues are a problem that Two Thrones irons out, especially with the sound design.
My fav is prince of persia :warrior within. But i feared Dahaka😱😱😱. When i saw dahaka My heart beating faster & faster. But still i love d game

What ruined Warrior Within was the music. I am not opposed to metal but it was very missplaced. The arabian magic feeling was only in Sands of Time and Two Thrones

I used to play that when I was 8 years old and when I saw dhaka for the first time I peed in my pants. Really🤣🤣
Chris C I thought the music was great tbh
is there any one still waiting for prince of persia game in 2019?
Maybe 2020
Oh hell yea I'm waiting and I would bet money that Prince of Persia will return one way or another in the next gen consoles. If they aren't already thinking about it, they will probably start soon. Yes AC was good for what it was but how long is it going to last? They know that people still remember and love PoP. It's just a matter of time the way I see it. And from an economic point of view, the game will sell even if it's crap, let's be honest, I think it has a huge audience of older and newer gamers.
Yeah
Nope but we are still waiting in 2022, the new one should be released in the spring, i only have to wait a few months but u have to wait another 2 n 1/2 yrs. It must suck being in the past. ( better get your sand of time to meet me in 2022 ;) .

Can't a series just end without it dying?
Anyway i loved Warrior Within the most, it got the edgy dark feel just right and the plot was the best
@SorryDASH Gaming imo it had the best combat and was the longest which is a plus in this case

My favorite is Warrior Within, but I like all Prince Of Persia parts :)
yeah, it had just the right amount of dark in it
I'm still scared of dhaka

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was my favorite

The Sands of Time had better soundtrack and story. I still listen to The Sands of Time soundtrack to this day.
I downloaded it yesterday
deffinitelly best game in whole series :)
I've played all PoPs and I don't care what they say or if it didn't sell well.. Warrior Within was the best there is or there ever will be.
Nah, it's silly of you to say that while the SANDS is the trigger master, the beginning!
skormm SoT may have triggered it and yes it was a classic but WW perfected the series, especially combat. SoT if played today, combat feels overly repetitive and boring but not with WW.
No it's not silly at all.The music, the added stuff with the swords and hp boost, the story, everything about this game is amazing and special.WW is the best absolutely and it's so underrated.
yes the combos are just amazing,no other game haves this combat. It's just such a special game.
I feel you my man
the answer is simple: ubisoft
denz I agree
Dylan Lewis Ubisoft created assassin's Creed, so it is Ubisofts fault
Assassins creed didnt kill it. It wouldve still been a good franchise if ubisoft took the time to make it so. Sands of time was perfect, the other two very close to that. The 2008 prince game was beautiful and interestin but very repetitive and not something that most people wanted. Had they made a good game based on sands of time, the game wouldve sold much much better. And I'd say that the forgotten sands killed prince of persia because that was such a bad cash grab.
Flow Goi
true, the 2008 prince of persia was actually not that bad, with better gameplay mechanics it would be really nice imo
denz not even that, the mechanics were pretty good. I think the majority of pop fans wanted more of a classic pop game rather than something new and ambitious.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within ...

Actually story continues on someother platform i think ,some 2D portable console ,but not sure which one
@@reezek3956 there is the Epilogue, which goes a bit further than original game but it also ends on a cliffhanger. They had ideas for a sequel that were smashed by AC's success.

Question: _What killed the Prince of Persia series?_
*ASSASSIN'S CREED.*
ASSASSINS GREED
I think prince of Persia lore was way better than assassins creed.
Joseph nope
Prince of Persia are way more challenging...creed's not bad, but it's win more to the graphics orientated tho....just my opinion 😕
Lilian Sondakh no prince of Persia was never hard I completed warrior within in 13 days
The best prince of persia was warrior within😍
i really get triggered when someone says two thrones is better... i mean, are you people blind?
And the soundtracks
@@mihalyoros2308 Nope, we're just realist. Two Thrones is the best
I agree Two Thrones is the best
Warrior Within trailer with I Stand Alone playing in the background sold me, and I didn’t even play Sands of Time.
corwin .r I played Warrior Within first, then backtracked to Sands of Time and was not that impressed. Warrior Within is the GOAT of PoP games for me.
glegg54 that the reason i pray they released kindred blades instead of the two thronees
Me too, Warrior Within first and then the other ones.
Two thrones was my favourite
Gaming Syndicate yep that was a beautiful game
Personally prefer Warrior Within.
every game of the trilogy got its own flavor, I love them all.
i love T2T, that gameis better than the rest
Warrior within was the best
Got to be honest, I love POP 2008. Sure the combat and difficulty of the game was easy, but hot damn the story and atmosphere of the game was amazing. It's my personal fav of the series. And the character interaction, the little small talk they do and the fact that most of the story is given to you when you initiate the dialogue. Also the Prince's personality in that game... man sorry, I gushed a little.
Nimja1 - Dat Girth It was certainly a good game, it just wasn’t as good as the classic games. My biggest problem with it was going from one section of the map to another, it took a loooonngg time.
thats the problem, it would be probably better as a movie, in the game like Prince of Persia you want captivating gameplay along with a good story.
And surprise, surprise...I don't really care for Assassins Creed, not my kind of game.
i loved this game!
WW is a masterpiece. as a child i used to focus on gameplay and Dahaka chase scenes which are so perfect that i wont even mention it now but as a grown up, for nostalgic reasons I went back and watched walkthrough, it has the best and deepest story ever, which is not surprising cause it is based on Arabian Nights stories. those 3 games really were ahead of its time for 10+ years. two thrones has a great story too, which i missed as a child but makes so much sense now
Prince od Persia Warrior Within is the best game ever made. It had everything. The story, the gameplay the atmosphere and best soundtracks \m/
Ivan Curic I wouldn't call it best EVER but easily the best PoP game. I still listen to its soundtracks to this day.
it had that GREAT ASS on it, the only thing I recall
I agree👍

I don't like the sands of time. They're rough and coarse, and irritating... and they put me in all kinds of shit forcing me to see my own daddy die two times over the course of three games
This game is one of the best games ever.
The story was amazing, the rest was beautiful.
Today Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time Remake Was
Announced! I Am Happy :D
PoP : Sands of time was my first PoP game and I still love playing it to this day because it's just sooo good!
My first Prince of Persia game was Prince of Persia (created by Jordan Mechner for MS-DOS).
Far as im concerned, the real Prince of Persia (not the reboot shit) started with Sands and ended with Thrones. Prince of Persia did not die. It concluded. What died was the poor attempts at rebooting it.
There was a 4th one! Look it up.
Lucian Andries Yes, the forgotten sands. But the main story of the trilogy stands and makes sense without it tbh.
Lucian Andries The Princes story still had a beginning and an end. Thats probably why FS didnt do that well. We already knew how the story ended.
It's placed between Sands of Time and The Warrior Within.
EDIT:
Yes, I totally agree with you! But it was another PoP game..... I don't care if it was canon or filler. As a PoP fan I just had to play it! And I loved it!
Lucian Andries True. Gamrplay was good. Was fun to play, but will never achieve the greatness the original 3 did.
POP: Warrior Within still stands out for me. Loved the story and gameplay
that game was complete dogshit
they could have done that with the year in wait for the new assasssin's creed , last year was a perfect timing for a new POP , when the AC games fatigue was showing , and by today's standards Gaming is more popular than ever , no one heard about The Witcher 3 before although 2 games of the series were already up . the Fans will spread the word Ubisoft just have to grow balls and believe in the POP Legacy
Basem Isam remember due ubisoft is slowly turning into EA
I don't think so. I'm a huge POP fan, but it's not a money maker. It's a niche product, with limited amount of sales. From a business perspective there is no reason to keep making the games.
ur right bro. when this game up witcher is not popular
ubisoft is killing their best linear games replacing everything with open world which i personally don't like it.
Versifyd nice mention of metro. Those games are fucking amazing. The book is great aswell, i suggest it for anyone. I loved listening to the audiobook hearing him explain certain situations and locations. Me reconizing them from the game. It really helped me visualise when listening. 3.prince of persia the two thrones
superflyerzz 1.ww

Well said - I definitely agree!
superflyerzz sands of time best
Pop trilogy was damn wonderful adventurous story, i haven't saw in any other adventurous games until now... I luv it😍😍😍
Sands of time is all time greatest I reckon
Sands of Time, far and away the best of the franchise. It wasn't just the great game mechanics, but the story, the comedic relief was perfect.
And not to mention that the gameplay being multiple times simpler than WW, it allowed us to stay close to the story, rather than the controls and reflexes.
Why no mention to forgotten sands.
BTW sands of time has best story and warrior within with best combat.
I think it would be best for ubisoft to reboot POP in 2018 with better and best graphic designs.
paresh parmar its called "forgotten" for a reason
WW had a great story too but yeah Prince was too selfish and ignorant
they should reboot the Two Thrones and make it free roam and give you the ability to change to Dark Prince at will, of course you cant change back unless you have water.
2020 and still waiting for a new prince of persia
I have so manyy good memories with Warrior Within. Prime part of my childhood
