Well, if you thought it was gonna be good to begin with in Warthunder in the gamemodes we have right now, you've brought this disappointment on yourself.
Ironically by putting it at a BR that doesn’t even have radar guided missiles on any SPAA and 95% of aircraft. Everything is SACLOS, IR, or Image Contrast.
F117 in game, easily lockable despite flying over some of the most hotly contested airspaces in the entire world only losing one when the bomb bay was open. F117 according to some of its designers "Yeah boss I couldn't see the test airframe on the stand until a bird landed on it."
I’ve read that the rcs of the f-117 is anywhere from 0.003m^2 to 0.001m^2 which is about the size of an insect. An absolute engineering masterpiece that the devs have ruined

well although the F117 is indeed stealth there was a case in serbia where a nighthawk has shot down because its bomb bay was open and the radar scan picked up this brief moment when the pilot opens the bomb bay to drop the bomb so uh maybe thats whats happening there because you open the bomb bay for a pretty long time while scanning for enemies
also that was an outdated radar. Seeing in the game they are using more modern vehicles and systems, wouldn't be surprising that the stealth technology just isn't as effective, especially for a game trying to 'simulate' it

No one seems to test if the F117 was flying directly at a radar SAM. Frontally is where its radar cross-section is at its lowest. According to the devstream at least.
The biggest problem is determining what the game considers ‘directly’. If for example being 10-20 degrees below the frontal plane negates the stealth in game then it’s effectively useless against SAMs.

A roland can still shoot you down just fine, just cant find you on the radar. And optical lock should also still work. Not to mention that unless it goes down in BR, 10.0 has no lineup, and 10.3-10.7 has better options for USA. And it will take 3 months to get if you get max squad research combined with the fact that spading it will be awful. Sure its a cool plane, but it wont be very usefull unless it goes down in BR to maybe 9.3 to 9.7. Gotta remember that the A4E is 9.3 and has 2x TV guided bombs + 3x bullpups, has guns, flares, option to carry missiles too and about the same speed.
