I was looking to see the wife of Judah; but she was unamed in scripture. She was a daughter of Shuah. Now Judah's first son was named Er. The pastor I was under the first 12 years in ministry emphasised the need to understand and research name etymologies, whether it be characters or locations. Wasn’t long after he pointed that out it was like I had all new commentaries of insight in the text!
