    Your needles pushes up and down so clearly and slowly where as other tattoos needles on other machines move way too fast at just 5-6v for the eye to see clearly, you tattooed just like you're writing with a pen on paper,,just effortlessly, that's why I liked the way you tattoo and my go to tattoo Sensei, I don't know if its my nature but when I started watching tattoo videos, I always think I can do better than that, but when I was recommended to your videos years ago (not like decades or whatnot) I knew you were something/someone special, unique and above all others, since then I never looked back, thanks for teaching me to be humble and keep on creating and uploading the best tattoo videos Sensei, 🤘🏻🤘🏻

    Great advice. My biggest issue w/ lining is keeping a consistent needle depth in the skin. The result is I have different thicknesses on the same line. I have a hard time finding a comfortable hand position at certain angles.

      Try using needles that dont have as long of a taper, try a short taper, so even if you go a bit deeper, your line will have the same line weight

    Hi Daniel! Been watching you for quite sometime now and I looove your take on things that are easy to understand. What are your thoughts on your preference on pulling single liners (1rl) ? Cause I seem to make a very solid fast lines on my DK but not in any other machineS, I have sol nova unlimited 4.0. Bishop fantom, and swashdrive brush. And as much as possible if I can set up just one machine it would be of great help to me if I can line, pack, stipple with it. but I cant line as fast as crisp as my dk but i dont want to use it on any other purpose as it is too hard hitting. What ar eyour advice for me who does mostly fineline black and grey work?

    Hi Daniel, thank you for your videos I found them really helpful. I have a problem with the fine lines, especially with the 3RL: I set the cnc q2 at 5.5 v but I think I move my hand to slow ( I don't want it to shake, so I even try not to breath) because I literally cut the fake skin. I have to turn down the voltage or try to move my hand faster? Best wishes from Italy

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Рік тому +4

      Hey Emanuela Amato! This is a great question and topic!
      I feel 3rl are a bit more difficult to work with as we have to be extra careful and pay attention to that needle tip. It really depends what I am doing with the 3RL. If I am using it for fine lining I will run at about 5-6 volts. If I am stippling with the 3RL I will stipple at 8 volts. I stipple at 8 volts because I work off of the very tip of my needle and the 8 volts gives me a much smoother look I feel.
      With fake skin cutting the fake skin can happen easily even with larger round liners. What I would focus on is developing my consistency with using just the tip of my needle. When I am familiar with using the tip of my needle I am able to use the tip of the needle to apply lines or shading without causing unnecessary damage to the skin.
      It also depends on the machine you are using! What machine and type of machine are you using on your end?

    • @emanuelaamato3161
      @emanuelaamato3161 Рік тому +1

      Hi Daniel thank you for the answer. I have only two machines : an hummingbird bronc v10 and a cnc q2. With the bronc machine sets at 5 volts there is no problem lining with a 3RL. With the cnc q2 at the same voltage with a 3RL the most of the time my lines aren't consistent or if I try to go just a little bit deeper I cut the fake skin. I always use reelskin for practice and the kwadron cartridges.
