Hi Paul and Wenda, It's good to see you're back on the road again and cooking royal meals from Emperor Nessie Goring. He was the one who built the Great wall to keep the rabbits out. Keep up the good work I will see in the next video
I have 200amps of lithium and 2000w inverter in my car. I have plugged my caravan into the car inverter to charge the caravan. Just have to make sure your caravan charger doesn't draw more than the inverter can supply. Loved this video, cheers, Joel.
I'm similar. I use my car as the powerbank. It has 400Ah Lithium and a 3000W inverter so when needed I run the 15A power cord from it to the caravan to run the charger or any 240V appliances we want to use in the caravan. The Lithium in the car is recharged at 50A when driving on day trips and the like and also have a couple of solar panels on the roof. The caravan is often parked in shade so I prefer not to have a huge 12V system in the van. Also we have an offroad camper as well as an offroad caravan so having the big batteries and inverter in the car makes sense
A great episode. Good to see you back out on the tracks. The Murray river is such an iconic place to explore. We were fortunate to travel the river during the last river flood. A beautiful part of the country and to see it in full flood was incredible. Safe travels.
Thanks David we are loving this adventure. We’ve made down to Corowa and just keep finding great camp spots right by the Murray 👌 Cheers Paul and Wenda
Thanks for this episode nice to get an update on road conditions not many do this and it's really helpful. We are doing this run this November starting from Adelaide, we were going on the Alpine Way but after Tassie hills might give it a miss. Very informative so really enjoy your channel.
Thank you 😊 we may cross paths, we expect this trip, down the Murray, will take us till the end of the year. Our van is quite heavy so we pick and choose which roads if we can. But having said that we have done some mountain driving like Waterfall Way in NSW and the hill down in to Adelaide 😉 Cheers Paul and Wenda
What a great idea for a trip, following the Murray. Great video guys, thank you, and not a "Parmy" in sight! Although you could have one with your "Nasi Goreng" lol.
It has been a great experience, we have been pretty fortunate with the weather. I did sneak a seniors parmy in at Corryong 😉. But yeah anything goes well with the Nasi Goreng 👍 Cheers
We’re really enjoying your travels along the Murray. It’s inspiring us to do it again, stopping at different places this time. We so enjoy and look forward to your videos. You are both so delightful. Thank you
What a great video, I will be camping along the the Murray River later in the year. Thanks for the handy hints on where to camp. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks Julie, might have to throw a few cooking videos together 😉 But for now: Barramundi (or whatever fish you prefer) Beans Red capsicum Zucchini Baby corn Bamboo shoots 1 tbl Red Curry paste Chicken stock cube Kafir lime leaf 2 cans coconut milk 👌 Cheers Paul and Wenda
Now that is a great idea for a trip!! I'm wondering where to go when I get back from tassie next year in April/May. I've never seen this area at all. My 8mtr motorhome should manage that I think? Fascinating about the power station - I'll check to see if they do tours.
Hi Paul & Wenda, thanks for such an awesome video! It was evident that you put a lot of effort into it and you both gave some great information. Well done. I must say that you guys are very inspiring. Glad we stopped by 😂 Catch you in the next episode. Take care, safe travels Corrie & Lyn ❤
Thank you for your encouragement Corrie and Lyn. This Murray River trip has been a great adventure so far 👌 We’re glad you stopped by 😉 Cheers Paul and Wenda
So appreciate you doing this. We first planned to do the same trip a few years ago but have yet to set out. We live in Queensland and thought about coming back along the Darling. This series of yours will be very interesting to see.
Enjoying the video, couple of corrections, the Geehi area which you briefly touched upon is very busy with caravans at Easter generally and is a vast area which extends three kms along the river. There is a daily charge of $16 a day for day use in the Kosciusko Nat park, plus the $6 you mentioned which is a booking fee for non specific campsites that don’t exist🤔. The source of the Murray is actually called Cowambat flat and is a large expansive plain which used to be able to be driven to, I have stood astride the Murray river at its source. The Indi bridge is actually a torrent you were there at low flow, 😉
Thanks for sharing that information it is fascinating. We got our info from the information centre in Corryong but even t he eh weren’t sure. Such an amazing river and so many stories. Thanks again for your insights Cheers Paul and Wenda
Hi Paul and Wenda. Absolutely loving your blogs. Out of curiosity, what video editing app do you use? Do you just record with a gopro? Obviously the drone footage is Priceless. What a great way to capture your memories. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@WallyandJulesAdventures thank you 😊 we use a program called Shotcut for video editing and primarily use the GoPro for filming. We are working on a video right now that discusses how we create our content Cheers Paul and Wenda
Cross the Murray turn right is Dogmans Hut in Victoria & free were we stay. Easy crossing with a hidden exit, plus the right vehicle & know how to use it, but not suitably for caravans. Lithium is the way to go with DC DC lithium Charging & solar. (AGM you go down to 50% - Lithium down to 20% & half the weight). We now do nearly all our cooking Off Grid in an Air Fryer including small Roast Dinners & Scones.😊
Thanks for sharing. We’d love to go back and spend more time it that region 👌we have 200 lithium but reckon we need to increase it. Air fryer sounds good 👍 Cheers
Great video guys. Planning to camp along the Murray following the same route next March so this was very helpful. Looking forward to watching the next episode.
Hi guys, just started watching you, think you do a great job. We have just started caravanning and want to know how you wash your van to keep it clean?
@@larryfield7536 what where have you been? Nah just kidding, welcome great to have you along 👍 We will give the van a good clean every six months or so. We either use a truck wash or if we can we’ll give it a wash at a caravan park Cheers Paul and Wenda

What a wonderful country we live in and am sorry I can no longer join in travels and pleased about how much I did previously thanks again safe travels and continue to have fun.😊

@@keithwhittaker8741 we have a Witi alarm fitted. If triggered it locks the wheels so the van can’t be moved and sets off the alarm. We also pick and choose where we leave the van. @@beyondthegreyozI note you speak of working from the van on your wifi clip. Without being to personal may I ask what you do ? The background music in your videos is distracting. It must only be added as a filler when you are NOT talking. 1. You have identified your audience matching your age.
