In this video, Tim demonstrates how to activate and strengthen the lats (your awesome king cobra back muscles) with rotation. This movement is also fantastic for mobilizing the spine.

These are awesome Tim. I didn't know I was so tight in a few places. I'm going to do these every other day for a few weeks until I perfect them and get the full stretch plus the added upper body strength benefits I can feel when I do them.

Will this strengthen lats or is this about spinal rotation?
Yes to both. It actually gives you access to your lats (helps your brain find them and use them) so that you can express more of your strength - it will make you stronger so that things are easier. But it’s also about the rotation in that it actually helps the whole body, not just the lats.

Lats are too important for climbing/pullups and boxing.
