Its perfect, bowman in 48, larson back in the 88 to get back used to the cars, and also earning respect back on the track, and the 88 is a winner car, so in larsons hands, its a perfect fit...
@@quinnseeger3745 They bought the charter. That doesn't mean that the number has to stay the same. Richard Petty has a charter for what was the #44 and the #43, and both have been leased to Rick Ware, now they're in a partnership with what is the #51. That charter started out for the #9 RPM, which changed to the #44 in 2016, was leased out to the #32, switched to the #43 because charters can only be leased once, and is now in a "partnership" with the 51. The actual car numbers really have little to do with it, and the charters were handed out to teams higher up in points when the system was conceived. Here's another example. The charter that the old #46 Harry Scott motorsports used was originally awarded to Premium motorsports who immediately leased it. After that year it was leased to the #46, Premium sold it to Furniture Row for what became the #77 for Erik Jones' rookie season. After that team closed it was sold to JTG to become the #37 for what it is today. The #77 Spire car that is now full time bought some assets from Furniture Row when they completely shut down, including the charter from the #78. How about the #32 having a charter...but it's not the original one they were awarded.... It's a very confusing system that can get messy with lower end teams with financial difficulties, and top teams that end up expanding.
