The Stars are incredibly overrated. Go ahead and tie up Mcbaby or any of his linemates, they'll just pass it to one of those guys back there and they'll put it in the back of the net.
Oh, as an aside, go look at Oettinger's career sv% against EDM. LMAO
Man plans Panther hockey laughs. Their combination of skill, speed and violence is tough for teams to handle.I do have the benefit of a game one shutout, but I had the Panthers in six.
BTW, when did home ice stop being an advantage?
I got a Panthers / Oilers final however Dallas already ruined my perfect bracket so I’m not as confident as I once was. Dallas just looks so good.
Re: Stars v Oilers:
Both teams have multiple/split personalities this year, but they both hit the post-season incredibly strong.
The winner of this series will hoist the cup, and the smart money is on Dallas.
Even when the Stars had weak starts in their playoff games, they almost always woke up and put in the hard work they needed to.
I see the west finals going six games, with Dallas being the eventual winner.
Even so, I'm really proud and impressed by the amazing job the Oilers have done this year!
I’m taking Florida only because they look relaxed and like they are having a good time.
As a Canadian I’m cheering for Oilers but I think goaltending is going to be key this series. Hope Edmonton can prove me wrong though, it would be nice to see McDavid get a cup
Dallas arguably had the thoughest route to the final conference! I root for the oilers but i dont see edmonton winning more than 2 against a powerhouse like dallas who just eliminated the last 2 stanley cup champs
Agreed. If the Oilers had a 0.915 goalie then I wouldn't be as pessimistic.
The Oil would have loved to play Vegas in the first. Much easier than LA.
Great analysis.
The two teams are evenly matched in record.... but the Stars are clear favorites. Great analysis.
As an Oilers fan I'm not super hopeful but another element here is that Corey Perry has the potential to be an absolute nightmare if/when he's out there
I think the Rangers and Stars will advance but it's going to be a tough series especially in the ECF
I picked Dallas to win the cup before the season started. came to me in a dream. We’ll see if I.m right. If I am,
Next time I have that kinda dream I better place some bets. Lol
best series preview i have seen yet. well done. oilers in seven
I would like my avatar back...
Great video! That being said-Go Bruins! 😃
They said the same thing about Vancouver 😂
When you attack someone so hard it's usually out of fear.
This is wild tk watch post Florida v New York game 1
Love your content, but gotta say it's pretty sad to see you promoting sports gambling. Understand you have to make a living, but thie shit is preverting the game we all love.
The panthers are a well-oiled machine this season. New York is definitely gonna be a strong opponent but the panthers team play and coordination is next level, and with Bob being an absolute wall in net, it’s panthers in 6
I’m so scared right now lmao excitement and dread all at the same time, please god…LGR…WE WANT THE CUP!!!
Rangers in 7, and 4 games (including game 7) go to OT.
The same Skinner from the Canucks series shows up, and the Stars win in 5.
Oilers have been fighting a sickness that's been making its rounds through the team and still made the final 4. Maybe Dallas makes it past em, maybe they don't. Only time will tell.
Oh wow they made the final 4 in the pee wee division against a literally crippled Canadian team. Not 1 American fan has any faith the Oilers will win this series.
@@OWlsfordshire crippled Vancouver only had Demko out and then Brock. Vancouver was pretty healthy so was LA. Plus how many Canadians are on the Dallas team lol
@@OWlsfordshire pee wee division? Remind me again which division last years Champs came out of? You band wagon jumpers really gotta come up with new catch phrases.
@OWlsfordshire we'll see🛢🛢🛢
I’m pretty sure most of Vancouver was sick through the Edmonton series too. It didn’t help everyone was getting overly personal. No excuses, but they had zero energy at the end.
as a stars fan the thing that scares me THE MOST is referees
USA vs Canadian team, you don’t have to worry 😂
@@rafaelxamorim9816 so true... :(
Yall are playing a Canadian team...Trust me you'll be more then fine.
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, who would refs favour, a darling southern American team or the Oilers who get viewers and ticket sales no matter how good they are
@@picklenik9658how about you look at the call that was done in overtime in game 6 against Colorado if I'm not mistaken I believe the same type of bulshit was happening when we were playing Vegas in round one
11:04 edmonton stars
The star players on edmonton
Oilers rangers
That be something.
@@rebmoe14 yes
I think Stars and Panthers in 7. I want the same teams but in sweeps.
The Pens window to make the playoffs hasn't closed yet!
@@ArcanumAscent Tanking is intentional. The terrible state of the Penguins in the years leading up to the lockout was not.
I wanted a Vancouver/Florida Final, but Dallas and Florida will be great.
At this point of the playoffs the difference between the teams is none but the names on the sweaters and with a new champion too this has been one of the best playoff seasons since the pandemic
What a road game for the Cats!
edmonton is gonna win the cup. you heard it here. The reason: because i said so and its time the cup came to canada, its been a while.
Rangers Oilers Final. Rangers win in game 7 triple OT.
If Edmonton loses a game 7 triple OT, downtown Edm would become the next 2011 Vancouver
I want the Oilers to win, but the Stars are solid in all areas.
As the past has taught us, many times the weaker team has beaten the favorites.... See Tampa / Columbus.
Hopefully its a good series so we all can enjoy.
Did you just say repeat history with a video of mark messier playing for the rangers?!? There is only 1 team looking to recreate history and that's the greatest dynasty ever in hockey.
Well you’re wrong bc Montreal Canadiens are the biggest hockey dynasty
I want to believe in Draisatl and McDavid but I just can't bet on Skinner to hold up vs Dallas. That being said, Oilers in 7
Let's GO Oilers, let's GO!.......from Australia!!!!
i wonder if the coaches will watch these breakdowns to help their strategies lol
Every team has video coaches who do this very same thing. This is the first time I've ever seen anyone in any form of media doing this for the public, which is amazing.
@@zedski yeah, but i wonder if he does a better more concise job than even those video coaches lol
even on youtube i cant escape the fucking gambling ads
Edm team D in games 6 and 7 v Van was not perfect but won the games. i think that philosophy and momentum could be a wildcard in the Dal series
Great breakdown. Stars in 6!
I want to see Oilers Panthers, but it's going to be Stars Rangers and Stars in 7.
The Oilers can beat the Stars. The reason the Avs didn’t beat the Stars is because Nichushkin pulled another… Nichushkin.
An interesting video, but the title didn't really match.
I'm a diehard Sharks fan who just wants to see Joe Pavelski get a cup.✌️🇺🇲 Go Stars.
Pavelski😊 has a very punchable face
Panthers v Oilers. I think Dallas is strong but special teams is winning games. It really does depend on goaltending
With Edmonton if Stu starts to become shaky they can always throw in Picks that’s been solid so I’m not worried.
The Rangers scored more goals at 5v5 this season than the Panthers btw
I'm calling it: the Oilers will make it to the SCF...and lose to extend Corey Perry's SCF futility streak.
If the oilers loose in the finals I’ll still be happy
Dallas stars better get em
Oilers in 7 and Florida in 5. Oilers leader: Draisaitl, 6g 5a 11pts, Panthers: Verhaeghe, 8g 2a 10pts. .910 for Skinner, .953 for Pickard, .924 for Bob
The problem with highly specific predictions is that it increases the likelihood that they will be incorrect 😜
All the oilers need is for Evander Kane to lock in and get all four offensive lines generating points. It doesn’t matter how bad the goalie is if your team is scoring four goals a game.
Goaltending is going to sink the Oilers sadly for them
I still think that san jose can win this years cup.
