- Everytime I interrupt my playing to set up a camera I lose the good vibes. So, I just kept playing this time. No recorded video of me playing my synthesizers. This take had some good spacy vibes, so I gathered some footage and cut together a vid.

Wow, that patch on the Deepmind sure sounds nice! I've read it's pure analogue? Do you have to calibrate it a lot? I always somewhat ignored Behringer as being a B-brand, but as of the last few years that's not the case anymore. They make excellent products!
(I don't own one single Behringer, but I do own a Peak.)

There's digital processing in the synth, but the oscillators,filters and amp are analog . I use also more digital enhancements in my DAW. I've calibrated it only once (which took forever btw). I've even turned the cooling fan almost completely down and it still doesn't detune. I even had to use the oscillator drift setting or it'd be too well tuned. The keyboard is a bit shit, but the synthesizer itself is not B-quality.
Deepmind 12 is fantastic. Only tuning issues I've had is when self-oscillating the filter.

Deepmind12 better for PADS and Peak better for leads?
Peak better for both... This just kinda turned out this way and I only have one Peak. :)
Yes, Deepmind 12 definitely has more capabilities for pad making. It has a huge effects base onboard and good polyphony. But there is a huge problem for those, who like classical synth workflow - too much menu diving. Menu diving is one of the reasons why people trying to switch to analog synths or some desktop equipment.
Anyway, I heard that deepmind has a bit metal-like sound, but as for me - I didn't hear it in real life.

Deepmind is superb for pads. Peak is superb for literally everything. It's the most versatile synth I've laid hands on.
@@impurfekt Exactly. When my Peak is sitting there it's very hard to make a patch on the Deepmind. I can't stop thinking how much easier and better it'd have been if I had used the Peak. But when I want to play two synths at the same time... I kind have to. I really should have bought a second Peak instead of the Deepmind.
