PoP...best game ever made in human history. I watched my dad playing sands of time, warrior within and the two thrones when I was 5-8 years old. Now I'm 16 and played it on my own.
I would look at an comparison video before getting that version, as some remasters make the game and/or characters look worse then the original versions such as with the Batman: Arkham Asylum game.

No. In GOW 2, kratos is not told that he cannot change his fate. That wasn't kratos idea in the first place. Gaia advised him that he should do this to go back in time and get Zeus. In pop, prince had a plan about how he was going to avoid his death, how to tackle the empress, and how to stop the creation of the sands. I don't know how you even linked those two up, since they have completely different concepts
Imagine if this game came out today. It would be generic. No hot women, skinny and average instead. No good soundtrack. You'd probably have some companion following you around. Walking sequences. Too many cutscenes. You'd probably have arrow telling you where to go. Old School is the best.
It would be open world with tons of content... ocean wide and as shallow as a puddle. Tons of boring side quests with the only intention of stretching out the playtime.
Warrior Within is easily my favourite of the POP trilogy followed by Sands of Time and Two Thrones POP 2008 was good but it shouldn't have been called Prince of Persia and should've been its own thing I didn't like Forgotten Sands, whole thing felt unnecessary They could've tried making an alternate sequel to Warrior Within which follows the Empress death ending, although it would probably be a hell of a lot darker killing human enemies and not having any Sand powers to use

how did you get that life upgrade before killing shahdee ( Boss 2) ???? i thought that first life upgrade was after this fight where you have to slide that statue in this arena.
When empress dies, the sands get created. Bad ending Prince went into the past to bring the empress to the present and kill her, the sands don't get created in the past, dahaka claims her body and prince's powers. Everything gets resetted. Even Prince's worst enemies get revived. Good ending Prince convinces empress to join hands together against Dahaka, the root of Prince's problems, They kill Dahaka and travel happily to babylon. Here the sands never get created as well but Empress loses her powers for some reason. Since the sands weren't created Prince's enemies return to destroy his kingdom. The only strange thing was Empress losing her powers, but maybe it's because her powers only work within her island or something? Because when she dies in the next game, the sands still get created (in a way)
I've realised there's counterattack in this game after a few years after I've finished my 1st walkthrough, when I decided to play the game again and found counterattack I was like "lol this game always had counterattack?" lmao Sorry, I'm bad at English, I hope you'll understand me :(
and to think, all the prince needed was that water sword to defeat the dhaka instead of having to go through all that. granted he didn't know, but still
They changed her looks in Two Thrones tho. Kinda understand they thought she was too oversexualised, but they could have left her red outfit, the new one pretty generic in my opinion.
On the first kaileena boss fight, I f***ing died when her health wasndsmn well near zero. If I had a ruler against the tv screen, I say about a centimeter of health. I certainly rage quit and I don't even want to play it again for a week.

_What a story it was, I just used to play this masterpiece without knowing the story but I understood it as per my growing_
