  • In my first summer of retirement, I went on a long ride. It was more than a motorcycle camping trip. It was in every sense of the word an “ADVENTURE”. A spiritual adventure to satisfy the thirst of a hungry soul. A journey through time, history and geology. Through lands that are changing faster than ever before. Join me as I travel north to Tuk and beyond, through the Yukon, NWT, Alaska and British Columbia.
Mother Nature as always, had other plans for me. She made sure that the rugged splendor and history would be earned, rather than be taken for granted. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together for you. As always, Ride Right, Ride Safe and Ride Responsibly in the back country.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy this episode of my travels. It is presented to show the joys, wonders and experiences of this route from a non-sponsored, not-for-profit perspective.
Please “LIKE”, “SUBSCRIBE” and “COMMENT” if you enjoyed this. It will encourage me to do more of these types of productions in the future.
As always, Thanks for Riding with me,
    ~GrizzLee

I have been waiting on this episode. I have this on my 2025 list after having seen your previous video travelling up this route so this is great intel.
In each episode there is at least one place I laugh out loud and of course I have a smile throughout. I pay attention to the locations and details while admiring the filming and story telling.
I take it Heidi is a GS with 20 litres of fuel?
a fuel strategy will definitely be necessary for my planned route from Watson Lake, up Nahanni Range Road and then to Ross River. North on the Canol road will also require some additional fuel but not as much.
I eagerly await the next episode and the others to follow.
    Best regards
    Doug

Well.......I'm temporarily at a loss for a cutesy saying....so I'll just say this. I was once talking to Alex (Guth) about places I'd like to ride in Europe and his response was why go there when the places you have out your front door are every bit as good and in many cases better than over there. I want to thank you for showing just how true that is. Ride long, ride safe.

@@richardbrush4483 Awe, Alex… I heard he is up in the north right now. Crazy. But yes, I agree with him wholeheartedly. He gives sage advice. I miss him. Thanks for hanging in there. The next episode is special to me. My favorite place I’ve ever traveled by moto. Cheers mate. 👍❤️ ~ Grizz

@RubiKonAdventures Alex has been posting a few pics on FB during their North bound journey. The Dumpster was closed at Eagle Plains for a few days so they waited it out. I think they should be at Tuk by now but that's speculation on my part. I agree, he's a hell of a great guy and I miss him too. I'm looking forward to your next episode. However not with bells on, people might think I'm a little off. ( I'd rather keep them guessing) lol 😆
