- Join us this week as we leave the boys at home and head out on adults only weekend at the Finale of the Warners Shows in Lincoln. While we explore the show we focus on finding inspiration for our Top Secret new project of converting our new VW ID.Buzz Cargo van into a fully electric campervan, and enjoy a fabulous evening with our great mates.

I've got to say a barbeque is only a barbeque with charcoal, however I do have a gas one, much easier & you don't leave burn marks, awesome vlog guys ❤🥂🌹

Charcoal lol…go to the Southern Hemi countries…and unless it is a huge party, they have gas bbq.
Regarding the layouts, think about how you both are going to use your van, just one night weekends, or a week? And if u are in the early and late seasons…you may want a different layout if the weather isn’t that perfect

Wow….just loving the end sitting area but I also really like the idea of the front seats making into a bed……that wa a great use of space. Definitely a light interior for me. Thank you for sharing - take care, lovely family.

Fantastic - really looking forward to seeing this progress. We picked up our ID.5 from Marshalls in MK just before our summer trip too and really liking the EV motoring…. I was adoring the ID Buzz they had in the showroom though!

I love the look of the buzz but I can’t see how they can make a good camper with such a low payload. Looking forward to see how you tackle it. 😅
Hi Steve/Lynds. Steve you came out and did graphics at our offices round Caldecotte lake a few years back…..big gold oak tree!!! Anyway, we are in Olney and have a T6.1 conversion by Redline Campers. More than welcome to pop over and take a look at our layout. We love it….plus a top idea for you re the bed!
I remember that now, small world. Thank you, our head is spinning on layouts now but I think the first thing we need to tackle is lowering the floor to see what room we have, then we’ll see if we can make the layout Lynds liked at the end work for us.
As the owner of a T6 conversion the last one you looked at here is a great idea for living space! However the whole pop top scenario is not ideal in cold weather or if it’s too windy to put it up, if you have a bad back being bent over is no fun at all! So lovely all the while the roof is up……..😢

Ours has a fix Cooker & grill, it wastes a lot of space, also a lot of modern campers have draws instead of cupboards, under sink & cooker, much better idea so you can see tins, etc instead of scrambling around in tiny cupbards
Absolutely unless on coal I think is called an outdoor cooker. 😮😂
I’ve got to admit that last van that Lyndsey loves is very very nice layout, but it’s only got 2 belted seats, I doubt know if that’s an issue for you,
Both of my self builds so far have been red-themed. I think I used a Cherry paint as it pops.

As it is Lyndsay's van I think you should wrap the bottom on the van in pink, maybe the same colour as her top? It will be the only one. Loads of pink accents inside.
It might be Lyndsay’s, but as we’ll both be using it, and fighting over who’s driving it as it’s great to drive, I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be pink Phil!
Think you should look at rib bed which gives option ro sleep on reverse of seats. I found Rock and roll lumpy to sleep on.

Fantastic Video! Some great vans. Just wondering how come you went for the Commercial Buzz rather than the one with the Windows?
We would have to rip out and dispose of the interior and seats at additional costs

The buzz is a lot smaller inside, then the t6. Not a lot headroom in the buzz.
Absolutely, but when we borrowed one to do a review a few months ago we saw what was possible and thought it would be a great 2nd car and occasional campervan

I’d buzz can not take all the weight so be aware look in hear to see ones that have been done and no gas

mmmm you have the Buzz and looking at the VWs out there for inspiration...have you seen the VW ,s own Buzz conversion? It look a little cramped... to be honest...
Yes this is only a 2nd car / occasional campervan. It’s the perfect size for that
There is a channel called " WILL'S WHEREABOUTS" he trials out campervans, cooks in them, and sleeps in them. He trialled out VW'S own conversion VW BUZZ. very cramped, and for 80.000, i wouldn't touch it. Better Campers for much lesser cost.

I’m going to need a lot of help, that was half the reason we went to the show, to meet other converters that may be able to help, although ideally someone that’s converted a Buzz, but they’re hard to find. Have you done much van converting?

You wont get Far thats for sure, Where are you going to plug it in ????? .. EVs are pointless as campers, There are no Chargers in the Middle of the Brecon Beacons, Dartmoor , Scottish highlands, etc… Overpriced Garbage… PERIOD. And its cheaper to by a 1960s split screen compared to a New Van its Hilariously Overpriced.😂
