IceCold11235 Reminds me of the corridor fight in Oldboy. Which is not really a kung fu movie or an action movie, more like a mistery drama that has some fighting.
IceCold11235 really? Because the cops running up getting clocked looked unrealistic as fuck. They all just take turns running up to get knocked out by him
Jean-Pierre Croissant they aren't knocked out just T-Boned, plus they had so much momentum they wouldn't slow down after they got hit. Additionally a collapsible baton to the face hurts like hell.
2:09 The funniest part like ronnie charges at the detective from a distance and literally sees him take his time and pick up a sign and still gets hit in the face with it 💀
Classic movie with an amazing soundtrack. Bouncing between dark comedy, drama, and action. Kudos to everyone involved in this movie. One of my favorite movies from the late 2000’s.
I like how he retreats, gives the fight a dash of realism, but I wouldnt mind if he won.If any of you know some other fight scene where the hero takes on this many guys, but beats them by retreating or some other strategy, not by some Jet Li magic, please reply!
the most unrealistic part of this scene is that they'd probably just shoot him right off the bat instead of trying so hard to take him down with nightsticks.
I think you misunderstand Ronnie a little bit. He's not just a power tripping mall cop. He's a mall cop with an extremely shitty life, that just wanted things to be better for himself and catching some pervert was supposed to be his big break and then some asshole comes along to fuck all that up lol.
His badassness is expressed in this movie through a cop that's just trying to get his job done but has a power-tripping mall cop FUCKING EVERYTHING UP. We love Ronnie though. We love Ronnie...
1:17 - 1:35 is an homage to a very famous fight scene from the movie Oldboy... it's up on youtube if anyone's interested, just search "oldboy hammer scene"
I always thought it was funny how they made Seth a badass in this movie. I mean there’s literally a scene where he beats up 3 drug dealers who try to execute him n
Who is it in the end getting their ass whooped by all the police after the fight? My bro told me its charles but I think its ronnie still getting beaten after he fought harrison
Rogen getting his ass beat by a shitload of cops at the end made me laugh out loud. And how fricking stupid is he to fight off cops instead of do what Ray Liotta told him to do?
@bennybagofdonuts Hehe,WHY would it on any level be offense to Danny McBride....in the role as an old, respectable, hardcore cop? That doesn´t make any sense.Liotta is one of the best actors alive but the role wasn´t really a stretch,he didn´t have much to work with, although he was great. McBride? That good? That´s kinda like saying" Í think Christoph Walz was the only one who could´ve played Hans Landa in Inglorious Basterds( No offense to Andy Samberg though). Internet is weird, man.
I think if Danny Mcbride played Harrison It would not have been as good,Ray Liotta Really made that part,Harrison Was what Ronny wasent. which is why Ronnie did what he did. he tried to be a cop like Harrison but in the end he realised he was better than Harrison
This movie is basically TAXI DRIVER in the mall. It's brilliant.
God Damn...
I knew there was a reason I liked this movie so much
Rest in Peace, Ray Liotta!!
Great Actor .
@@TheChrimboEffect Hell yeah he was.
OMG I didn't know he died he was an amazing actor from Goodfellas to Blow to Heartbreaker to Observe and Report he truly will be missed isalute
@Honey Da Lune dohnt fourget Feild Uhf Dreems, mye personel favourite
Out of all the kung fu movies and action movies ive seen, this comedy has the most realistic one-vs-many type fight scenes.

Person it is a little bit cartoonish. Hard to believe that Ronnie would have been able to fight off that many cops.
@Dr Zoidberg it is but it’s still better than most fight scenes I’ve seen lol
"you didnt bring enough pigs to hurt me." i spat my fucking drink outta my mouth lmao this was awesome.

ronnie king beating at 2:41
"You didn't bring enough pigs to hurt me."
One of the best scenes and movies ever. Especially the naive thinking of mania for a good cause.

So fucking badass how he takes them out one by one.
If Kevin smith was smart he’d find a way to tie this beating Ronnie took into mallrats 2 lore.
queen, the hero, flash gordon album
This movie made me become a mall cop. And I relate to Ronnie more than I'd like to admit...
But did you get the coffee girl? That’s what’s important!
this is a great scene but i loved it when Nell was crying and Ronnie beats her boss
that was epicness personified

Best scene ever
Queen - The Hero
look it up here on youtube, best version is live at Montreal!
No one mentions how bad ass Ronnie’s mate was getting beaten by 5 cops with battens.
This is exactly why cops don't carry mag lights anymore
I was so excited when this part came on, that's QUEEN in the background! The Hero! :D! ♥
"i thought we were brothers of the badge, how the fuck do you sleep at night" hahahahaha i think thats the funniest thing ive ever heard honestly
2:40 they were beating him like Rodney king 😂

bahahaha at the end you can see one of the officers just annihilate Ronnies head with a right kick
If Ronnie was black, this would have ended real differently.
@Chris Benoit's Daycare You love it, you little snowflake. Now go back to momma's teet.
Genius lol
he was kickn ass for a second there
"We don't wanna hurt you, Ronnie. You wanna get hurt?"
You didn't bring enough pigs to hurt me.
"Are you sure about that?"
@@omarcogle1965 how about we find out huh
He put up one hell of a fucking fight.
Second best scene next to the ending. Epic motion picture masterpiece.
the most unrealistic part of this scene is that they'd probably just shoot him right off the bat instead of trying so hard to take him down with nightsticks.
What is the most unrealistic part of Harry Potter, the wizards or the dragons?

you should post up the one where nell begins to cry. that scene is just ADORABLE!
LOL I think Ronnie did good against like 15 cops... I'm just saying... He had a flashlight, they had nightsticks.
what's the song at the very beginning, while they are talking,
BEFORE QUEEN starts.
Good friend
What's the song that plays when Ronny gets beaten?
if i got in a fight and had too choose between a Nightstick and a flashlight, i'd goo with the Flashlight!

@crusadermil "When I Paint My Masterpiece" by The Band.
I once saw him kill 20 cops in a mall...with a focking light! Who the fock can do that?!?
we got a rodney king situation at 2:38
True heroism
I want to do this in real life
I think it is personal :D

Meth Damon to the rescue!
Better than Taxi Driver but Taxi had more after effect. No kids will not explain that because I respect Jodie Foster.
Who is it in the end getting their ass whooped by all the police after the fight? My bro told me its charles but I think its ronnie still getting beaten after he fought harrison
Definitely Ronnie. Charles is wearing short sleeves, man on the ground has long sleeves.
Why is he pissed at Harrison? And is this the end of the movie?
there's not one boring scene in the whole movie.
Rogen getting his ass beat by a shitload of cops at the end made me laugh out loud. And how fricking stupid is he to fight off cops instead of do what Ray Liotta told him to do?
METH DAMON 0:13
my favorite rogen movie......the only one that had any balls.
Harrison: needs a whole to beat on Ronnie before he feels comfortable enough to step in. What a jerk.
You can go outside. This is my world.
Actually if u watch the movie, ull see that Ronnie is the jerk.
You didn't bring enough pigs to hurt me.
