- IT'S BACK!! Another budget gaming build and we have a much awaited one today. for a long time I've been wanted to do this conversion and just haven't got round to it and dam it feels good!

I build my first selfmade rig and i installed the pedals directly flipped.

a bit late but for anyone who doesnt have a rig like this, you can swap the pedals and flip the grips and then put the case back together and then pin them up against the wall with a chair or something. but i did this and its working perfectly fine until i have a better setup.
Don't see why it wouldn't work as long as you got a way to mount the actual case to something
@@thatbrokegamer. i have a weird setup that i made with a table, i used my car seat set up on a few bricks and then my tv is on a chair thats backed up against the wall. all i had to do was pin the pedals behind that chair the tv is on (where my legs go under) and then put a few books behind it, ive been having a blast all night and hasnt moved yet! definitely ghetto but hey if it works lol. eventually i will do it similar to yours because im not a fan of the angle and they are very close to being too far away even with me being 6'4

All you need to do now is change the view to bonnet mode so its like your actually in the car. I mean... isn't that the whole point of all of this??
nah, not a fan in interior or bonnet view unless it's with vr, otherwise when racing/drifting, you can't really look into the corners or see who/what is next to you when using the wheel

This is really neat, I've built a full seat/center console/e-brake setup for my G920, and the pedals being the wrong way round were the most off putting thing about it. This looked really easy, I'll have to do the same on mine. I'll probably use steel instead of wood just because I have it.
sounds heaps made!! yeh im in the process of figuring out a hand brake. I'm building it in wood first so I can test out things and get an idea of what works and what doesn't. then, probably after ive sorted out the hand brake and maybe a custom "dash" to relocate the buttons then I'll be doing a metal one based off the final wood one.

aha, i try my best anyway. Nsw dude, And for me it was worth it because I know it will earn its self back in the end, and also because I managed to pick it up really cheap. From experience, i much prefer horizon to motorsport with the wheel. some may hate me for that but oh well. Personal opinion

its not to bad to do, just fiddly. one thing to make sure is that your pedals are up high enough that they do hit the ground when you press them

What are all of your settings in advanced wheel settings screen? Finding fh4 is next to impossible to use with my g920 on Xbox one.

wouldn't have a clue aha. It was just all done by eye. but looks to be about that. just play around with it and do what ever feels natural for you

unless you've got the IQ of a sloth, you should be alright :') Just have to watch you dont yank on the wires and pull them out

In this its the b button. But now its my right paddle as ive since made a hydro handbrake as well

aha, cheers man. And i think because they're still a very unique kind of thing. so because there's very little companies doing it, they'll just charge what ever they want. But if someone was to design something decent for half the price, they would 1, be making a fortune in no time and 2, bring the price of the market down as the other brands would want to stay in the competition

You're totally right, it's just business and $ is everything... and tha Forza reminded me a lot of Midtown Madness if anyone still remembers it I played that with my first wheel (genius speed wheel 2) hahaha memories... I'm a PC and PS4 player so I'm guessing I'm now getting FH3 on PC just for the nostalgia hehehe

nah, just easier to do it with out the cover, wires aren't really in the way either or in danger of getting damaged so meh. Feels so much better ahah. guess it's just personal preference

How do you do the wire setup do you need to disconnect the wires or just mount the pedals and that’s it I’m really confused
just unplugged to get the lined up then plugged back in to route the wires to match. no wires need to be cut or anything. just unplugged to make it easier

yeh i've done it a couple times before, only thing is now the settings a very specific for my set up with different pre loads on the springs in the pedals and a bigger rim now on it the feeling of the settings are going to be completely different to what im getting through mine to what everyone is would be. Probably the main ones being my linearity on 45, rotation at 600, force feedback at 50%, wheel damper 0, centre spring scale 190

for the set up/rig that I have, yes. and just feels better as all my real cars have this pedal set up as well
Formula cars use those pedals but the rest come with the one that you just did

3:57 my cable broke because it was resting against the wall and I had to fix it with electrical tape.
yeh, i wish they had the cable come out the side rather than the back. But I guess you don't really find out about problems like that until the consumers bring it up
It's been a logitech oversight for years now. I had the same issue with my driving force gt back in the ps3 days. Even my g920 had this issue before i inverted my peddels. Idk why they ignored such a simple to fix problem. More proof that logitech does not care about the consumers, they care about the dollar amount. Fact is other then a few exceptions logitechs the only entry level wheel market. Thurstmaster has the tmx and the tmx pro now tho but thats about it.

So u never disconnected the cables going into the pedals just swapped flipped them and connected earth screw down again
nah, just left the to hand and hopefully not get tangled aha. i don't even think i undid an earth screw :')

Put 2 screws in your wood holding pedals to wrap cable around so they at back out the way

The only thing I did different was add a 1 inch spacer on the clutch pedal so it sits higher

First I would of taught that the pedals will feel weird naw by the way flip the peddles wear your feat go so that are the right way up
nah, at first it felt weird but, it does feel more like my reals cars so i prefer them this way
