Chicken Filets on spinach bed
(for 4 people)
10g butter
1 fine chopped onion
1 garlic clove chopped up or pressed through
1 teaspoon of soup seasoning (bouillon)
300g fresh or frozen spinach leaves
4 chicken filets (ca 400g)
180g of sour cream or crème fraiche (25% fat)
2-3 teaspoons curry powder
Bit of nutmeg
150g rice (long grain rice)
Salt and pepper
Warm up the butter and fry on it the chopped onion and garlic until golden-brown, add 200ml water
melt the soup seasoning in it, add the spinach leaves and cover it, cook about 15min.
Clean the meat, season it with pepper. Warm up oil in a pan and fry the meat about 4 min on each
side, season with salt and take it out of the pan. Add 3 spoons of water to the pan, mix in the sour
cream, curry and a bit of salt if necessary.
Make the rice in the meantime.
Season the spinach with salt, pepper and nutmeg, spread it out in a deeper baking pan and pour over
at least half of the liquid left from cooking spinach. Put the chicken on top and pour over everything
the curry sauce you made. Bake it in a preheated oven on 200°C for about 20-30min and serve with
rice. The dish also works well with mashed potatoes.
Pileća prsa na špinatu
SASTOJCI (za 4 osobe):
10g maslaca
1 srednju glavicu sitno sjeckanog crvenog luka
1 režanj sitno sjeckanog češnjaka ( ili protisnutog kroz presu)
1 žličica koncentriranog temeljca ( začin za juhu)
300g svježeg ili smrznutog špinata u listovima
4 pileća filea (400g)
180 g milerama
2-3 žličice curryija, muškatnog oraščića
150g riže dugog zrna
Sol i papar
PRIPREMA:
Ugrijati maslac, dinstati luk i s 200ml vode zaliti, dodati temeljac i otopiti u vodi, ubaciti špinat i poklopljeno kuhati 15-ak minuta.
Meso očistiti i popapriti. Zagrijati ulje u tavi i meso prepeći sa svake strane oko 4 minute, posoliti i izvaditi iz tave. Sok od pečenja razrijediti s 3 žlice vode.
Umiješati mileram, curry i malo soli.
Kuhajte rižu.
Špinat začiniti s paprom, soli, muškatnim oraščićem, rasporedite ga u vatrostalnoj zdjeli sa barem pola tekućine koja je u posudi, na to poredati meso i preliti sa umakom od milerama.
Zapeći u ugrijanoj pećnici 20-30 minuta na 200°C. Posuti curryijem po želji i servirati uz rižu.
