Your mom LOVES when I mix up those subdivisions when we're alone together. Blending 16th notes and 16th note triplets is an awesome way to build control, speed, synchronization, and endurance (all things I need when I'm with your mom), and this workout is gonna show you how!!!

Good exercise- thanks. A point to mention is that pickslant will be changing between downward and upward at various points depending on whether you start with a downstroke or upstroke.
So, if i start with a down stroke l, am i good to inward pick slant the entire exercise?

I really don’t, though!!! Now that I have that amp shelf and the OX, I use my tube amps 90% of the time. Scroll through my past several months of videos, verrrrry few are modelers. Love my Axe III, though!

I just traded my Bad Cat Cub ii for a brand new Ibanez Prestige 5120M in the Frozen Ocean color. I love it. Besides, the Bad Cat was just collecting dust.. I don't care for Voxy sounding amps. Sounds great for what it is. Just not for me.

Hey Uncle Ben thank you for the lesson! Just curious, when playing slower I noticed you’re picking from the wrist. Your faster demonstration appears that you’re picking movement is more from the elbow. Of course the vid is cut of a bit for tabs. Am I seeing this correctly?

Hey Ben! I'm loving these exercises, but they get pretty boring, pretty fast. I think you could structure these around cool licks in real solos, and that would make them sound more musical. Maybe even just give an example of a real lick in a real solo at the end of these lessons. What do you think?

Out of the long list of problems I'm gonna have attempting to play this exercise?
#1: Is remaining "relaxed" when trying them dog gone; 16th notes. For sure.
With my first few attempts? Each time I got to the 16th's.
My whole body would tense up; and it was like, I was holding on the guitar for dear life.
This one is going to time and mucho work for me.
