Yeah it’s the ID14 MKII... a little pricier though!
So I bought one and here is my take: The sound with speakers is amazing. The sound through headphones is SUS. I mostly produce and mix through headphones. (Audio-technica ATH Mx50) I play guitar and bass. The JFet didn’t do it for me. It works on electric guitar or bass. If you plug in an acoustic or nylon guitar then it ruins the sound. I did not try the mic inputs because I don’t have a mic. I did try them for the line inputs and they were extremely low. I thought it was insane that I had to crank the volume insanely loud to get an ok recording. I imagine it may work better on the computer but that’s just my take.

Went from a mbox 3 to this✨ I’m happy with this audio interface. Sound quality is way better then my mbox. The headphone amp is way clearer. I guess because the mbox 3 did not have a good headphone amp.
Yeah the pre amps in this vs the mbox 3 are night and day. Glad you’re enjoying it 👌🏼

@@HennyThaBizness So, I have it now. It. Is. Excellent. Maybe there was something up with my previous interface (Scarlett Solo) but this iD4 absolutely smokes it in noise floor, clarity, and something I’d only describe as smoothness. It is no joke as big a difference as it felt going from a USB mic to my Stellar X2 with Scarlett. It feels like that level of a difference. So glad I picked it up!

Audient ID 14 MK II is even better than UA interfaces. UA interfaces sound somewhat un- natural.

I have couple of questions.
1-can you customize ID button to MONO in your daw?
2-hows your review of iloud MTM ?
3- are you using any sub with iloud MTM?
guys dont forget its usb c bus powered....make sure you get an A adapter or a usb C to A cable if your computers dont have C ports.
I use the A converter it works well.

Great video. I had thought about the Evo4 but didn't like the all in one knob. I really like the sound and build quality of the ID4. My issue is no 5-pin midi. Looking for something to use at church with my iPad and guitar. I don't need 5-pin midi right now but maybe in the future. Any interface recommendation comparable to the ID4 but with 5-pin midi.

if i plug in one cable with usb C in one end into the interface and the other end of the cable which is USB 3.0 type A into my PC is it also going to make the headphone output weaker?
My only problem with this interface is there’s no ability to individual control the headphones volume
they tell you that they are "connected" meaning, they are treated as 1 output being split on the internal side. The high end interface has actual separate headphone outs... this isn't that and at the price probably is working to realistic expectations...

never had problems but now can't find a solution for this, even the support tells me things that don't work.. card is on anyway

Awesome review!! I've been hearing that the iD4 can get hot while in use. Did you notice any over heating or significant increase of the temperature of the unit???

My biggest debate atm is decided evo 4 bundle vs id4 vs the zen go! I’m building a home studio for for RAP VOCALS only no instrument input needed. Got a Mac mini and a iPad Pro (usb c) to travel with. Any opinion or advice to go with out of those 3? I currently have the blue yeti pro and shure mv7 as my mics at the moment (usb x xlr) inputs on both. Thanks so much man!

I was hoping for a review. But the only thing that I took away from this, is that there are tons of knobs and buttons, and it does “stuff”. And works with “Stuff” . Not quite what I expected.

I'm using a scarlett solo and this seems like it would be a good alternative to that, more like the next up with extra input (2i2 maybe its called?). I have my monitor speakers connected to it so it really isn't used mobile or anything but has USB-C in the latest versions. Its just annoying getting audio from my iPad to my computer if I want to broadcast live. I end up having to connect an interface to the ipad, and then out to that to another interface on the computer and then you have to get levels right on both ends. Like maybe I can connect the iPad directly, but then you need long USB cables and you can't get instruments into the iPad because of the silly limitation on only one audio interface at a time.
For me it's the preamps for my Shure SM7B. Also the ability to turn off the monitors via a single button vs trying to crazy software setup. Very convenient for switching between monitors and headphones!

Is the main volume control analog or digital or VCA? ( Digital= pre-DAC / Analog= post-DAC)
Hi I have a question, so I got an id4 mk2, and sometimes it just starts getting noise I plug it in and out and then it's gone for like a few hours let's say 2, but that isn't my main question my main question is the interface starts getting somewhat hot if it's in use for a long period of time after 1 hour it starts and then starts getting warmer and warmer it isn't terrible hot, but you can definitely feel it is that normal?

Considering buying this for electric guitar practice, this or motu m2 .. Heard there are some issues with latency and drivers for Windows 10 with Audient ID4 mk2, is that true ? Also I dont have type C input on my laptop and it is USB 2.0, should that stop me ? Really love it, but that rumors hold me back atm .. Should I buy this or motu m2 ?
I just got new one replacing my old M-Audio Fastrack Solo, I got a USB A converter head to hook up to my PC, it works smooth and no latency as I tried to take a bass track last time with Win 10. It's an amazing unit just like it's described here! I'm happy!

Care if you use 96khz you might experience a loud hiss in the speakers randomly.
If you use it at 44.1 or 88.2 no issues.
The playback quality is great. Using it with 2 krk 8 inch monitors.

What’s your take on the Motu M2? I tried the Audient and didn’t find it to give me quality.

@@morten1 It wasn’t clear. I don’t know if this is a new version or not but the one I tried wasn’t much better than the presonus one.
I haven’t tried the M2 but the preamps on these Audient interfaces are super good quality. And I’m comparing that to my all time favorites which are Apogee 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Only if 2 channels is enough for your needs. If you need more inputs under $200 the EVO 8 is perfect
