Well, i will choose both if my legal trade bot (since the bot can create the pokemon you want that isnt illegal, that means no illegal moveset, no illegal shinies, ect.) Can give me the rapid strike urshifu on discord once its back on. The server? Johnny Canal's server.
Urshifu Rapid Strikes is quite possibly one of the best stall counters to exist.
-Bypasses protect/detect/kings shield/ baneful bunker/wide guard.
-Access to brick break (destroys screens/veil)
-Other amazing coverage options inlcuding access to Aqua Jet stab if you want a second water move.
-Surging Strikes bypasses substitute, disguise and ice head.
-Guaranteed Crits on pokemon that don't have immunity = bypass any def/spdef buffs, which is a useful counter to pokemon like Corviknight.
- Doesn't require much set up to use effectively.
Urshifu is so gonna be a force to be reckoned with in OU. Its stats are great, and while it's weak to Fairy, its Speed is high enough to outspeed most fairies, and it learns Iron Head to counter them.

Dang, the dark one’s signature moves look amazing. I was literally biding my time trying to pick one but now I’m definitely choosing the dark one.
Normally I love Dark types but I just had to pick the Water one this time. But they’re both super cool and I’ll probably end up wishing I’d picked the Dark type just because I don’t have it lol

If u want both of the urshifus just do a play though on ur second on ur switch get to the wild area head back to the train station and u can go to Isle of armour, play until u get urshifus and transfer him using pokemon home

Yea I'm my opinion the water one is stronger because the signature move hits multiple times which means it can break through disguise, ice face, sturdy, and sash.

I got the One Blow Urshifu. But I'm a little troubled on the name I want to give him, it's either Hit for the G-Max One Blow animation and Akume for the fighting pose of the G-Max form.

When I first saw them I thought I liked the rapid strike style better but when I found out the single hit one was a dark type I didn’t have a choice, had to go with it and haven’t regretted it at all

I prefer the Dark variant. Both the standard Wicked Blow and Gmax One Blow just give me major DBZ vibes. Wicked Blow literally has the whole aura power up before rushing in to attack. And One Blow feels like an energy beam like final flash or big bang attack.

Yea probly not . Plus the other one has an electric and grass weakness and is week to psychic. And theres alot more variety of thouse types of pokemons running around then fairy types.. So I think the dark one is better . Just cuz the majority of people on youtube "thinks" it's better doesnt mean it is .. 4x weakness dont meen shit if you can counter it .

Get both. As with home, you can trade between users on the same switch. Just touch your profile pic before selecting pokemon sw/sh. I dont think you even need to get a single gym badge. And you can get more of the urshafuu g-max items only (max honey) from other d-max combees/vespiquen

it would've been funny if there were an animation that the pokemon accidently hits the trainer like when drifblim used explosion pimp's char would receive a hydro pump in the face by poliwrath, if there were a mod that gives that animation of hitting trainer i'll definitely gonna download it and show a health bar to the trainer just for the joke but it would do nothing

Brian Johnson I don’t think single strike counters the fairy weakness. Also I recommend rapid strike.

For me I got the rapid strike because being 4x weak to fairy with as many strong fairies like togekiss and sylveon is just not fun to deal with
That’s a bad argument. Togekiss and Sylveon can be dealt with using other Pokémon. The way you guys are saying 4x weak to fairy are making it seem like the only opponent ur shift will face will be fairy type. So dumb.

Nope, Pangoro is also immune to Psychic. Just like how Aegislash is immune to Fighting b/c it's a Ghost, despite also being Steel (not counting Scrappy though, Scrappy Fighting attacks will still hurt it). That's how immunity works. There are a ton of similar cases.

i prefer the rapid strike form , it doesnt have the 4x fairy weakness , it has more type coverage with surging strikes , and surging strikes is also useful for breaking substitute and sash

@@htyfg11 also you are 4x weak to fairy if you are not careful with your SS urshifu set and both forms of urshifu had low special defense and most fairy moves are special based, That's why so many people use the RS style in PVP it may have a lot of weaknesses but at least it doesn't have 4x weakness.
rapid strike cause there arent many water legends and Zarude and galarian moltress are both dark type so u would have 3 dark types from galar

Fighting and dark. They have the same stats but water and fighting has 5 weakness but dark and fighting 3 weakness

There isn't much story after evolving Kubfu. You evolve it, finish the main story then get the max honey so that Urshifu can gigantamax
