Just FYI on flight levels If your flight is flying in an easterly route (From heading 001 to heading 180) you will fly in odd Flight level (FL190 FL210 FL230 etc)
from 181 to 360 you fly at Even Flight levels (FL280, FL300, FL320) etc. Based on your route, Your flight level should be on Even (This is unless ATC directs it)

great explanation I've moved from MSFS 20 which is great when it runs right the toruble is that's not often and I spent more time trying to fix it than actually flying, so I know nothing about this sim and these videos will be a great help.

Great video, very in depth . May I advice, in the EXTRA FUEL section, it's always a good idea to carry at least 1 hour of extra fuel ... in case you have to enter a holding pattern or you must change routing to the alternative airport.

Thank you SO MUCH! I've always been used to the simple way of adding a flight route in flight simulator 2020 but now that I've switched to x-plane 12 it's quite complicated. although now im quite prepared and motivated to do my first a330 flight in x-plane 12!
I have 1 question however: I don't really understand the whole weight circle meter in x-plane like I thought that if the circle had red on it it meant that the plane was over weight but watching this video so far I see that you're loaded in the red... What does that really mean?

Are you sure about the Cost Index explanation where you said low stands for high fuel burn and vice-versa ?
I think it is the other way.
This game is definately not for a beginner looks incredibly complex and a very high learning curve. I was going to pick it up but it's too complex for my liking, I'll stick with Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.
Then don't do commercial flights

Setting up a flight plan was easy in FSX but since MSFS2020 doesnt like my Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback stick and I am not buying another stick, when mine works perfectly, Xplane 12 it is. Thanks for the tutorial. Sorry never been to your country, but did land in Karachi briefly on my way to my present home. Wanted to see that part of the land but way too much political crap. Anyhow thankyou again or Shukriya janab!

This is the most stupidest thing they should already have all information in the sim ready to go like msfs.
@World Aviation MSFS does both better flight and scenery.
