      Good for you! On the job training is at an all time low, and then companies have the nerve to complain about a lack of skilled labourers.

    When spraying for german roaches, should I rotate my igr like I do with my residual insecticides or will Gentrol alone be okay?

    Can this go in an window air conditioner?

    • @domyown
      @domyown  3 роки тому +6

      You would not be able to or want to spray any chemical into an electronic unit or venting of anything, especially one such as an air conditioner. If you suspect an insect is hiding within the unit and you need to use an IGR, you can use the Gentrol Point Source www.domyown.com/gentrol-point-source-p-51.html instead near the air conditioner to allow the IGR to reach the insects and impact them through its vapor, but without impacting people or the air conditioner itself.

    ok here goes, i have a pathological fear of roaches, so what do you people mean when you say quick knock down ? i mixed 3 oz bifenthrin concentrate, and 2 oz xponent and the things stop to do shots, i spray them with store bought raid, and they die, you guys have totally shaken my trust, get some cb80, and a case of raid from the supermarket and you would be better off, your staff LIED to me

      We are sorry that you did not see the results you expected from products you have purchased. Keep in mind that an over-the-counter product like Raid or a contact kill insecticide like CB80 is designed for a quick kill only and does not have any residual once the spray is dry. A bifenthrin concentrate is essentially the opposite: it will not have immediate knockdown but will have long residual action after it is dry. Bifen IT is mixed at 1 oz per gal of water, so you need to be sure that you are always reading and following the product label directions for a safe and effective application. While adding a product like Exponent can give a boost to a residual insecticide, it is still never going to be as fast as killing a roach with a contact spray or, of course, with a physical item like your shoe.
      Keep in mind when treating for roaches that most of the insects are hiding in areas where you will not get to them using only contact kill insecticides. We recommend our Roach Control Kits which include a residual spray, IGR (insect growth regulator), and roach bait gel, as well as glue boards for a comprehensive treatment. We also have a detailed online Roach Treatment Guide that outlines both chemical and non-chemical steps to eradicate this pest.
      As always, please feel free to contact our Customer Service team anytime you have questions or concerns about products or treatments. You can reach us at 866-581-7378 M-F 9a-5p EST.
