I'm so glad you found it helpful! I'm making some new videos this month so be on the look-out for those! And there is a whole tutorial series I have (shot vertically - originally for TikTok) as a playlist but I'm in the process of refilling them in horizontal format! :)
I did the harry potter series as my first ever rebind. And now I'm hooked I've done ACOTAR twice and LOTR and the Hobbit. As well as a few others. I LOVE this hobby.
I keep meaning to film that and forget! There is a tiny peak of it pretty fast in my Christmas book tree short I think, but I will film a longer version! :)
Thanks for this video! The best part for me is I do have most of the parts like the pricier items hand. And I just ordered everything else. I'm super excited to try this.
Thank you so much for this video. I really enjoy watching your content, and because of you I want to try bookbinding myself. I'm really thinking about buying a Cricut Maker (I also want to make my own book nooks, and I think the maker is so versatile for both of these crafts) AND I find your videos so lovely, so relaxing and informative at the same time. You are so likeable and ... real. I'm a fan 😉 I wish you a great year 2025 and look forward to seeing more of your content ❤
This is the kindest comment thank you so much!! And yes the maker definitely sounds like the best option for you, I originally had an air but upgraded to the maker to be able to cut thicker materials and I've been happy with it ever since. Have a great day!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Super helpful to have prices and sources for products! (& thanks for posting the link to your Instagram story. I had no idea you had a youtube channel.) Also love how soothing your voice is 💕
Hi you have been my guide as I take on this hobby, just wondering if I can use printable iron on instead of vinyl for the book cover titles thanks in advance
You definitely can!! I’ve seen some beautiful books that use printable iron on. You can also print directly onto book cloth! I tried it in my previous video of the cricut alternatives and it works well!
I find it fascinating but I dont have the patience for it so I rather buy them from People that sell their work on etsy. Sure its expensive but every now and then I treat myself
Totally understandable! And in no way am I trying to say it’s a bad thing to buy them from Etsy sellers. It’s just a pretty easy hobby to learn if you have the time (and patience!) to do it yourself so I was hoping to show that.
The first 500 people to use my link skl.sh/thatsmybookshelf12241 will get a 1 month free trial of Skillshare!
This helps so much I want to do this. We need more videos from you.

its fun right??? once you get the hang of it it's quite addicting! :)
Just found your channel and embarked on my own bookbinding journey a few days ago, so I'm really excited to see this new video drop!
Oh exciting!! Good luck with everything! And always feel free to drop questions in the comments. I hope my videos are helpful to you! 😊
Inspiring video! Would love to see a tour of your library and the books you’ve done so far 😊

Oh perfect!! Yes it’s surprising how many people tell me they have a cricut shoved in a closet somewhere 😂
