    The first "warmup" is the worst variation of external rotation you can do. Due to the tension coming from the wrong direction. Instead Use a band or Cable machine to do it. if you only have dumbells then do the first exercise while lying on your side.

    Thank you Derick! This is so helpful, I'm going to a little gym near my home after years or being inactive. There is no coach there to ask them for help or advice. I always do my warm ups based on what I remember from 10 years ago when I first started to work out. Never occured to me to search youtube 😅

    That’s isn’t an effective warm up for warming up the chest. I would use elastic bands instead of weights. Gravity is pulling the weights down thus making it ineffective to activate the chest for this warm up

      Elastic bands are effective as well but this warm has worked wonders for me and my clients. Injury free. 😁💪
