Ningen Isu has a huge catalogue of great songs with over 20 albums. I would recommend checking out the music videos for these songs:

Here are a couple live performances I would recommend checking out as well:
1. At the Mountanis of Madness (11 minute live performance, very progressive, long solo, and a theremin used in live performance)
2. Hell's Mountain of Needles (cover of Breadfan by Budgie, completely original lyrics, they aren't the translated lyrics of the original song)
3. Chou-nouryoku ga Atta nara (Vocals by Nobu Nakajima, the drummer)
4. Odoru Issunboushi (Very slow creepy song)
Neither of these lists are an order or a ranking. I just listed them as they came to mind.

Nobody does existential dread like old men!
I love the video too. The color shift from "hell" to the black-and-white pre-chorus, to the blue and green of the middle section (and the shift to a major key), and the return back to the red flames of hell. It's not fancy or high-tech but it tells the story.
