Love Kenny Rogers music from when he was with the First Edition (60's-70's) to his solo career. He was a great story teller in many of his songs like "Coward Of The County" & "The Gambler". He had so many hits "Lucille", "Lady", "Through the Years" etc. He did a lot of duets such as with Kim Carnes "Don't Fall In Love With A Dreamer", with Sheena Easton "We've Got Tonight" & with Dolly Parton "Islands In The Stream". He also did quite a few duets with Dottie West.
Mr. Rogers was one smooth dude R.I.P

Devin, you just played my all time favorite country song, from the GAMBLER, the one and only Kenny Rogers. You have to watch the movie, great actor, and the video we watched back then showed action clips from the movie. Kenny was smooth, and that voice was whisky smooth! No one had that low whisper rasp like Kenny! LEGEND! Lady is another great one, actually written by Lionel Ritchie, and Lucille also a great one, you can't go wrong with Kenny, especially if you add Dolly Parton to Kenny in a duet!

I listened to Kenny back in the day and watched all his Western movies. The gambler was always my favorite ❤️ Kenny Rogers song. It was beautifully written and sung. It feels gospel is mixed in with country.
I've loved Kenny's music since I was a kid (55 now). Two more great stories he weaves into song are Lucille and Coward of the County. I've seen several UA-camrs react to that one & it always blows their minds. It is definitely one to check out, it will get you fired up in more ways than one, trust me. You'll love them both, I promise.

Respect and prayers for Kenny Rogers! Excellent reaction! Kenny was a great entertainer, and he populated his songs with real people who had real issues that we can all relate to. Try out some more of his music and you will not be disappointed. I'll recommend "Ruby" "Lady" "Coward of the County" "Through the Years" & "Islands in the Stream" with Dolly Parton.

Great video!! Love Kenny Rogers...he sang with several many artist such as Lional Richie, Jr, Dolly Parton...Islands in the Stream which was written by the Bee Gees and several more. When you do the Bee Gees again please do "Massachusetts" main vocals sung by Robin. Love your channel and I am a woman of faith as well and really appreciate you spreading the good news!!

FYI, if you haven't already, Home Free did a collab with Kenny for "Children Go Where I Send The" which is rather amazing. Home Free also did a cover of this as a tribute to him.
Classic storytelling country song. Another one of his great story-songs is "Coward of the County." They actually made TV movies for both songs, and Kenny starred in both of them.

Was wondering what happened to you, had been missing your reactions but glad you are back.😊 I absolutely love me some Kenny Rogers, he was a legendary singer and you will surely love just about all of his songs. Around 1967 he had a group called Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, it consisted of Kenny Rogers, Mickey Jones and Terry Williams. "Ruby don't take your love to town" and " Something's Burning" are a couple of their hits which you can give a listen to. Kenny also had a solo career and his hit single " Lady " which came out in 1980 is a beautiful song that will give you goosebumps 😊and " We've got tonight " is also a wonderful song which he came out with in 1983. You'll get to know and love Kenny...one of the best. ❤

The song, LADY is a must but only the live version where he is in the white suit. Also, a live version where he is at the County Festival singing SWEET MUSIC MAN.
The Bee Gees produced an album for Kenny. Wrote songs for him and they wrote the song he sang with Dolly Parton called
Islands In The Stream.
I believe this is still the highest selling country song.
Barry Gibb was the only Bee Gee in on the production of that LP.

Can you react to Ambrosia on their hit “How Much I Feel”. It is just a beautiful song and my favourite. David Pack started the band and is lead singer and he writes beautiful songs and is a Christian serving GOD. The bands other hits are “Biggest Part Of Me”, “You’re The Only Woman”, Holding On To Yesterday”, “How Can You Love Me”., “Life Beyond LA”. They started off as a Progressive Rock band and ventured in to pop & had many hits.
