Thank u miss Patty tht simple yet very effective trick is now going in my tips n tricks memory becos like many I KNOW I will use this again 😂😂❤❤, thank u new follower 4more tios and tricks, 😅😅😅😊.
Brilliant! I’m adding an icord border to a garter stitch mitered square blanket. Even with your method, my icord seems tight, and I fear it will cause the blanket to pucker. I’m using fingering weight yarn as I did with the blanket body squares, and the same US 2 needle. What can I do to make the icord stretchier?
This video is about removing the color bleed. Like any pick up (and this is a pick up) you need to understand the right ratio for your stitch and row gauge. Garter's row gauge (the side of your blanket) is a very different gauge than your stockinette (your i-cord). Patty this is amazing! You make it so simple as always. Also, I love the sharp tips on your dpn’s! What brand and size are these? I will be doing an icord finish soon and need these needles! I don’t have a local shop where I can look at various brands, so building my needle stash is tricky. Trying to avoid pricey mistakes - Thanks! Teresa
Thanks Patty! This is exactly what I needed to work on my Smooth Sailing Tee - I even linked the video to my Ravelry notes!

Thank you! 🌻 What a difference just one yarn over can make¡👏👍
Thank you, Patty!!!
Brilliant.
Thanks for the tip - but I would love to see what the back looks like too.
The same as the front. An icord is a round cord. But you know the best way to see? Cast on and try it!
AMAZING! What a wonderful difference from such an easy trick. Thanks.
Life changing thankyou 💋
Wow....you are brilliant! I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing.
So glad you like it! Hope to see you in class sometime or in one of my KALs
Thank you Patty! That was so helpful!

Nice, but I'm sarching for an I - cord bind off with another yarn than I used before, not to a totally different thing. Can you help me, please?
Grazie mille♥️
Love it! Great solution!
Glad you like it.
Thank you very much for this video! You are a great teacher!
you're so welcome!
I had a blanket pattern that called for Icord edging and didn’t like how it looked. Now I can do it and be happy. Thank you for sharing.
I'm so glad it helped. Be sure to join my Ravelry group and share pics of yur project: www.ravelry.com/groups/the-patty-lyons-fan-club
Thank you Patty, I was just doing a project with this issue!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they were Hiya Hiya
Thank you - I’ll check them out! I have some interchangeables in Hiya Hiya and love them. I didn’t know they made wooden dpns
Does Patty Lyons want my money?
I might as well, piss into the wind...and say... It's coming back to me, now...
...well, does she??
The title is misleading. The I cord is all in one color. Should be called applying I cord with a contrasting color.
