I have a 2018 A6 Allroad. I endorse the review comments and add. - It's a great tow car for large lightweight caravans @ 2.5t. It's combination of very efficient high torque engine a self levelling suspension really works. I regularly get 12lt/100 km mileage while towing. And it remains comfortable. - A large cargo space that incorporates a safety screen that can be moved to just behind the front seats when the rear seats are folded flat. This translates to a very large and safe storage for caravanning bibs and bobs.
Apparently there are repeat owners of the All Road who love it because it is not a SUV and so comfortable and practical. I think an issue with the touch screen on larger cars, is that they can be a stretch, particularly for drivers who like a long arm driving position. Bring back the the central dial. Mercedes appear not to be selling the All Terrain in Australia any more, besides it was a 4 cylinder and more expensive.
Great review! A fan of wagon, A6 wagon is one of the favourites however cannot afford one and orderrd a Skoda superb scout instead. Cannot wait to pick up in a week's time.
Great to see a nice green colour. Thanks for the review Tom. I do wonder if Audi had you in mind in having one traditional sort of wagon in their line up.
The longer I look at this very pretty and elegant car, the more I detest SUV's. This is all the car I could ask for. It's gorgeous to look at, it's spacey, modern and comfortabele. And practical as a wagon and a tow car for a trailer/caravan or whatever... Love it! 🤩
Great video. I’m in the UK. Interestingly here you can get a 231bhp diesel or a 3 litre tfsi petrol with 340 brake. You can also get a black pack to make it look less of a farmers car…. Great waggon though.
The A6 Allroad is a very stylish, practical, and well-appointed estate, but the prices gave me sticker shock when I was checking them out online. Clearly priced in line with the MB E450, which to me seems like a more luxurious wagon. Audi is asking about 10-15% too much for this.
@Tajoumaru... The 2020 Allroad vs 2020 MB E450 All-Terrain is too close to call ... The interior fit & finish goes to the Audi, no question. . The same for the infotainment/Navi visuals & interaction ... The MB inline 6cyl gets the prize over the Audi 3.0l V6 hot-vee single turbo. .. The 4wd arrangements are equals IMHO. .. I intend to buy one or the other for a 2021 model Kombi. .. 2021 order books open in late May for both Audi AG & Mercedes.. Owned an MY96 Audi UrS6 Avant (RS2) as my daily-driver of 10 years... Man,, fond memories that S6..! ..It was the Uber ski-wagon. .. Cheers, Vail, Colorado
really looking forwards to get a 1-2 years old one in the future. But, most of the owners keep their allroad forever. Unfortunately brand new is out of my budget. I want the air suspension, but A4 allroad doesn’t have :(
‘This car is a bit of me’.......this car is very expensive....you look like your parents still give you a weekly allowance......you can wash my car! For 10 dollar 😆
looks really good with all road, but if I were buying a wagon, Id go for a volvo v 60 cc, that thing is gorgeous. except for fact they went no buttons and everything in infotainment - which is really dumb edit: damn forgot this one has a v6 diesel, this one then for sure
I usually despise the Audi design language of late but this car looks quite balanced to my eye except the usual primitive ugliness of the front grille. The whole purpose and concept of that car appeals to me.
If I had the money to buy one car, I would be torn apart between the following 3 models which are my dream cars.. Until recently it was a duopoly between this A6 Allroad and the monstrous RS6 Avant. In the end I think the RS6 would win cause of the shear awesomnes and that 600 HP engine.. But recently a 3rd car has come to the market and it's stealing the Audi's thunder... I'm referring to the incredible Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo. Taycan brings a whole new level of performance and technology to the table.. Can't wait what will be Audi's answer to Cross Turismo. We all know that the king of estate cars will bring it's A game and come out swinging when the time arises for them to build an EV Avant...
I disagree about the ride quality with the 21 inch wheels, we have those fitted on our car as summer tires, and I can’t really notice any difference to our 18 inch winter tires.. It’s got really good suspension
Needs a certain light to hit it. It’s a pale green. Personally, I’d prefer a deep forest green. Which of course you can do - through the Audi Exclusive paint programme.

Superb Scout is also a great thing. Well done on bucking the trend and buying a wagon.

Possibly! A Chasing Cars compliance car...

Great review and a good car. Appreciate the power conversion. I’m in the States but love your channel and site
Awesome! Thank you!
From the company that produces the ugliest SUV, the Q7, they give you the sweetest looking wagon.
I love them. Long live wagons.
Everything but the grille is perfect.
Thanks Australian Ed Sheeran! That was very informative!
A Beautiful review of a Beautiful wagon!
Great review as always Tom 😊👏👏👏👍
Thanks again!
Good review! Thank you 🙏
I love it in that colour, I just love Audis apart from A1 and q3
Nice review, thank you

Great review, Tom
Thank you kindly!
Nice review as usual, price?
How about the price?
Great review..thank you! btw...from the states here and I'm so sick of SUV's. Bring back the wagons.:)
+1. Exterior color; Gavial Green Metallic with Chocolate Brown Leather...
Great review as always. What is the price and 0-100 kph figure? You could add that to the power graphic for completeness. Thanks again.

Can you make a review A4 Allroad 45TFSI?

Glass half empty...
Another enjoyable Video Review
Thanks again!
I really love this vehicle
Stunning!!!
Agreed!
Can you review the new e class facelift and compare to audi a6
The E-Class facelift launches in Australia this week and we'll have a review soon.
I’ll take it. Nice review 👍🏻
We'll have to fight for it. Thanks!
That map lag tho
excellent review Mr Baker!!! love your videos!!
Glad you like them!
good test...but for Australia wild country i would prefer SUV Q7....regards from Slovenija...
Nice, very nice. In that pleasant soft body colour the cladding is barely noticeable.
Yes, that is true. The cladding is actually painted gloss grey.
There is also an option to have the cladding painted in the body colour - helps it look more like the regular Avant that Europe has, but not the US.
Nice Family Truckster
It sure is, Cameron.
Why is the check engine light on during the speedometer scrolling segment? Does it already have problems lol
Because the engine was not on. The car was in Accessory mode.
Every car in the VAG group does the same thing. Engine light stays on until started.
@@TankEngine15 I assume he would keep the car running during the review for the a/c 😂
I always hated the look of sedan wagon, but this one look really good

Yes please
very funny as you can get a black pack on the us spec version of it
This color combo doesn't do justice to Allroad.. A beautiful contrasting white car with the black plastic cladding, makes the really pop.
Wonder how many they sell every year...
Not many, but that isn’t a reflection of the car’s objective merits!
@@chasingcars Definitely not, more the affordability factor and not buying an SUV
Hmmm.....another diesel......where’s the hybrid or low emission version?
Do you know that Australia is still struggling in getting the Euro 6 engine?
A PHEV with 100km electric running would be nice.
In 2021 that infotainment system framerate is just horrific.

There is a substantial difference. Perhaps your roads are of a better quality!
Super cool dad swaggon, but that grey colour really makes it look boring as heck.
Needs a certain light to hit it. It’s a pale green. Personally, I’d prefer a deep forest green. Which of course you can do - through the Audi Exclusive paint programme.
@@chasingcars +1 with that colour. It needs a nice verbose colour to accentuate those lines.
@@chasingcars VW Oak Green/Porsche Oak Green (not sure if they're the same) would really make this pop
