In customer service, there is managing the customer through a position of authority where you have to be confident & firm and it feels like a lot of these guys are given a very basic understanding of the concept but, in practice, they are just overly aggressive & abusive.

I sell medicare advantage plans and tell all my clients with smartphones to follow kitboga. This work is important and hilarious, which is such an amazing combination. Thank you!
It's a great idea to spread the word like that but I'm afraid that many of the older people who this could help might not understand what is going on during these calls. It's beyond the comprehension of a lot of elderly folks who would need so much of it explaining in detail, they tend to fixate on the technical stuff that they don't understand and miss the important information.
I have tried to introduce Kit to my dad who is in his 80's and can use a computer to shop online, search the web and check emails etc but he cannot follow the screen sharing process so doesn't understand who is doing what on screen. When Kit derails the process by talking nonsense over the scammer, my Dad gets very frustrated by it all and cannot continue watching.
@@ian-c.01 I keep it simple and tell them not to log in to online banking with anyone no matter what they say or who they say they are and to never read gift card information over the phone. Could the US shut this down with sanctions against the countries who house these degenerates?
@@chrisazzy My elderly Mother trusts everyone if they 'sound nice' on the phone, I have intercepted a few calls where she was just about to give her card details to a stranger and even managed to get her bank to reverse a payment that she already made !
Older people just don't understand that strangers might call up to scam them and even if you tell them one day, they can easily forget another time or be convinced that the nice lady on the phone is trustworthy because they are very cleaver at using psychology and devious sales tactics to gain victims trust.
The first time I stopped my Mother making a payment to a scammer she got very upset with me because she had completely fallen for the scammers lies and could not believe they would be dishonest, she refused to accept that she could have made such a mistake !

On listening to the attempts at scamming, I still can't come to grips with people not knowing whether they pay X amount or not to whomsoever. I, as a 75 yr old pensioner, know every penny I spend, or receive, therfore if they called me and used that stupid spiel, I would certainly know it was a scam.
Yes this detail is wondering me as well. Maybe it goes for rich people, who has multiple accounts with saldi like kits from 10000$, and who have a lot of subscribtions and online purchases. 300$ is not small money for me that I could "forget". And as "victims" go and "buy" gift cards for 3, 5, 10 000 $$, as light hearted as if it was 3 or 5$!
Its awesome that so many of old americans are so rich, that 5000$ is a small amount for them.
This only works on 0.00002 % of people. In another scambaiting video, out of the 250,000+ calls they push out a day (automated system), about 4 people fall for it. While still unfortunate, most people don’t believe this shit, luckily.
They go for the lowest hanging fruit, which is why the most vulnerable and mentally incapacitated (dementia, Alzheimer’s, general senility) are the ones that fall for it. The number should be zero, but it could be worse.
these scammers are bad workers. they always need the client to save their job.
