In SpongeBob's defense, Squidward DID told SpongeBob to promise him that no matter how much he may beg, plead, and cry, not to give the paper back to him EVER to begin with. Especially since SpongeBob is not only someone who ALWAYS keeps his promises, but he did gave Squidward EVERY chance to change his mind about not wanting the paper until AFTER he made his promise to SpongeBob. Also, Squidward definitely should've thought twice before trading EVERYTHING he had to SpongeBob just for a single piece of paper.
To be honest, out of all my SpongeBob history I watch since when I was born 2004 I’ve watch a lot through S1 to Goons on the moon (last one before creator die and I stop watching new ones) and then in 2021 I’m like, wait a minute, I haven’t seen this one episode in season 1? The paper and Valentine’s Day and then I’m like oh my god, I’ve never seen this episode yet and until now I did and it felt new to me like first time watching in 2021 the forgotten episode I miss but geez I forgot about those two how did I possibly miss this episode out of all? I even watch all in TV but it was so rare? Idk but wow and those two episodes weren’t bad at all too, their great cause it’s classic SpongeBob :)
@jarhyeonharris12 the paper is one of the more lesser known episodes of Spongebob because until 2020, it only aired in valentines day, because its paired with the valentines day episode.
"well you can't play music with a piece of paper (any kind of music or music from video games playing)" "Horray! Horray! That was great Squidward. All those wrong notes you played made it sound more original."
The most underrated SpongeBob episode ever that or Inmates Of Summer from Season 5. Nickelodeon barely airs this due to it being pared with a Holliday episode. This is pared with Valentine’s Day. This episode needs to be talked about more. Its plot may be simple but like most of the pre-movie episodes, it’s done really well. Great Episode 84/100
I feel that this episode is overhated. If someone told you there was an episode where SpongeBob plays with a piece of paper, you'd probably think it'd be boring, but once you give the episode a chance, you'll see it's actually worth watching. The jokes are hilarious, and there are enough so that the episode runs for 11 minutes. For an episode with a simple plot, it sure is great.
Episode 16b The Paper Plot: Squidward gives SpongeBob a Piece of paper. Fun Fact: This episode was aired (due to it's sister episode) On valentine's day Quote: Does anybody have any sunscreen? Lowlight: Squidward being homeless. Episode Rating: Meh This episode was Neither good or bad. I found this episode very boring and a bit pointless. Well i'm not the only one who thinks this episode is a Meh episode. So many people find it that way too.
This episode rarely airs because it's only paired up with the Valentine's Day episode.
Jonathan Delgado but one time it was paired with I was a teenage gary
@@tfan2016 but that episode is mainly paired with Scaredy Pants
What about Fools in April because it’s sister episode is Neptune’s Spatula
I thought Neptune's spatula was paired with the hooks episode
they mainly pair random episodes with another random episode cuz of compositions they do like "SpongeBob Loves The Krusty Krab" and stuff like that

For some reason the rare episodes are always my favorite
Most underrated pre-movie episode.
Yeah, and its so good
Which SpongeBob is more underrated pressure or the paper
@@SwiftyRoll7592 The paper
Agreed

This episode reminds me about my grandfather's old house in Montebello, California.
"Don't give that paper back to me, ever!"
*SpongeBob will remember this moment from Squidward.*
Ep.16:Valentine's Day/The Paper.
I miss the classic episodes of spongebob
@David Lucas ikr it was an awesome episode especially with all the funny moments
The kids from the SpongeBob SquarePants intro appeared in this episode
Im so glad i grew up with Season 1 spongebob, i remember this sound SO WELL
The most obscure out of all of them.
What does that mean

A Underrated Episode for stupid Reasons.
This is a Simple but Wonderful Gem.
I think the reason why SpongeBob is one of the few kids shows that can get away with characters being naked, is because the characters aren't human!
Music: Grass Skirts Blowing
@Archie rude
I never even knew this episode existed😂😂
Because it was paired with the Valentines day episode
When you get a new box of crayons and you draw SpongeBob on the paper you have on the table
I keep forgetting this episode exists mostly because it’s sister episode is the Valentine’s Day special

crazy how this episode never aires on nick, the only way to see it is on prime
It bums me how the full version of this theme was only featured on this episode, as the other episodes that used it in their titles were shorter.
Season 1
this is a classic episode
but there's definitely better season 1 episodes out there
SEASON 1 EPISODE 31
