Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter - Preshow March (Stereo Rerecording)

Thanks to the wonders of X-S Technologies we were able to recreate this piece of music heard in the second preshow of the now-extinct Alien Encounter attraction at Walt Disney World. After an audio-animatronic host called "S.I.R." presented the advantages (and risks) of X-S teleportation technologies he ushered visitors into the main show room. The cheesy march presented here was heard at the end of his introduction.
This piece of music is an example for a so-called fill-and-spill-music, a track that is especially created to be used while audiences enter or exit a theme park attraction (mostly used in show type attractions). In this example you can here how the music conveys some kind of steady movement to usher the guests into / out of the main show room while also creating foreboding atmosphere by not using bright happy major chords. The main melody provides a slightly feeling of unease, partly by often using minor fifths and thirds.
