Thanks for the updates mate I really like watching it all come together what is all that scaffolding for I thourght the stadium way dine building 🤣🤣 and are now at the fixture and finishing off part oh well that's everton for you thanks again 👍
Overbury are the fit out contractors for the interiors. Apparently all the hospitality suites are done now and look amazing and very similar to the visuals
Thanks, Colin. So now I'm really puzzled as to the reason for the scaffolding in the NE corner: 2 'floors' of planking over the whole area. Will there be more floors yet? I think the best view to see will be from over the UU plant looking in through the glass, behind the barrel-cladding.
@@stephenlinden-wyatt-ys8vy That's one thing I am fairly certain it is not, Stephen. The drainage system does not need fixing. The issues were only in the SW corner due to a temporary pumping system before the siphonic system was fully in play in that corner. For there to be floors it suggests some work at a much lower level that up at the guttering. There are pallets of what looks to be lighting units located on the NNE roof, a bit further along than the Gate 26/Away Fans entrance below.
@davidbadcock2225 - ah David - The giant sequoia grow to an average height of 50-85 m (164-279 ft) with trunk diameters ranging from 6-8 m (20-26 ft). Record trees have been measured at 94.8 m (311 ft) tall ......
Disabled areas look criminally large the more I see of them; look how much they take up, surely they don't need to be as deep as they are and another row of seating could have been put in? Of course the stadium should cater for all, I understand this, but the design looks to have lost seating/capacity IMO.
Thanks once again for going out into the cold, but it's a sunny day for getting great video shots. Ta mate.
Brilliant, thanks mate

I was trying to work it out and thought ‘what a plank’ when I couldn’t 😮
I will give that angle a try next time David. The only thing obvious at the moment is that it isn’t for painting.
Making an educated guess, I would say it’s to fix the drainage system but as I say, just a guess

looks llke the grass isnt bonding ver well near the corners???
Progress, the things been handed over.
The pitch looks to be the main concern. I’m sure it will be ok for next season but not so sure about the test events.
They can always put a smaller pitch on the grass. I am guessing that half of the attendees for the 1st test event will be gone at half time
Have the pitch lights been pinched from goodison because the grand old lady seems to be missing some
It looks like the scaffolding is for when they paint the stadium structure beams white as there all gray and some are now white
Growing grass in the winter isn't really possible but as soon as spring starts then it will be easy enough.
Test games before that will not help .
It's very possible
The pitch looks fine and there’s still a month to go. The corners won’t be used.
Could the scaffolding also be used to erect netting, to stop the pigeons
I would be very surprised if it was just for that
They've put horticultural fleece on the pitch edges to get the grass to grow. The pitch definitely won't be 100% ready for the first game.
So how will they use the pitch at all if its not ready???
with technology now you can have a playable pitch ready in days. Wemberley, for example, use lay and play
@franriding6473 It's not turf, it's grown from seed.
@@seanbyrnebba Football wasn't always played on pristine pitches.
@sparkymark68 but it is now and I can't imagine them wanting anything but
when is the first match due to take place?
First test event is on the 17th of February
Can’t see those corners being ready for the game. The pitch there is brown soil 😂
The new trees never lost their leaves. What tree is that? Evergreen? Local, regional? Tell me
Pines, Alders and Dawn Redwoods.

@davidbadcock2225 wauw😂🙏
Ends of the pitch just aren't growing, it'll never be ready in time at this rate
They look that way as sand and more seed was recently laid.
No sign of Lang O’Rourke demobing from site u surely don’t need all that office space now
They are staying on site for two-three months to oversee any snagging issues.
Pitch looks nowhere near ready for a game in 4 weeks.
The pitch is a mess and I expect the test events will be cancelled
The reason grass doesn't grow in the corners seems to be a structural problem.

I’m no expert but the pitch looks crap….
