Reports broke on Monday that Thompson is heading to the Dallas Mavericks for a three-year $50 million deal after negotiations with the Warriors didn't move forward. What's next for the dubs? The Warriors signed shooting guard De'Anthony Melton to a one-year deal and are reportedly targeting Utah Jazz F/C Lauri Markkanen in a trade. when the team seems to decline the podcast start to get immediately better… Kylen is a huge upgrade
Kylen is spot on with Moody playing at least 25 mins on a nightly basis. I think he solves the backcourt issue being small if paired with Steph
Lifelong Warriors fan since childhood in 1972-73 here. For as long as we can, so glad we can enjoy Kylen with our dubs before she's swept away by the national networks of the world. Great show. Also helpful therapy right now, lol. Feels like a major turning point in Warrior history, watching Klay (and Chris Paul, who was great last year even at 39) walk away for a bag of Cheetos and a sad song. Klay was amazing in his time, but also last few years not self aware how much he slipped talked Kerr into jacking 3’s over and over missing in playoffs against Lakers, and Kings, and seemed not to realize he was not the player he once was…
I love Klay, but was getting tired of his sulky attitude the last couple years. As soon as things started going bad Klay revealed himself to be a bit selfish.
The Warriors betrayed him. The organization died today. Steph should be next.

Klay revealed his true colors these past few years. You would think Steph's humility and grace would have rubbed off on Klay a bit. Steph never complained about his salary, his playing time, coming off the bench, having a bad stretch of games, etc. Once things got difficult for Klay he resorted to being an entitled, spoiled kid. He said after their last Finals win that he didn't want to play for another coach, another team, and any players not named Steph or Draymond. Now he goes to Dallas because he wants to play with Luka and Kyrie. I guess it's OK for him to disrespect the other players who helped him get 4 rings just because he feels disrespected.
This is similar to Ray Allen leaving the Celtics. If I were Steph and Draymond I would not be completely OK with what happened. This is definitely one of the worst examples of a player leaving the only team he played for after winning multiple championships.
I’m hyped we got melton. It was time for klay to go the fact we got two seconds and a 16 million TPE is a win.
He played 38 games last year lol. He's coming off a serious back injury. It makes no sense. Even if he plays well, the MLE could've been spent much better. This franchise is in shambles. They better get a trade done or hello lottery
Saric, CP3, and Klay. Drafting Post, trade for Livers, and sign Melton. Did we even improve? How much? Is this make dubs a contender? If Mikal Bridges price was that high, and can we still remember what Jazz got for Gobert? I expect a lot of first round picks the Warriors are not willing to give up. Its clearly a rebuild mode now for the Dubs thats why they keep getting young players and keeps on drafting. Probably, they are looking to be a lottery team which is very bad for Steph.
They should trade him and Dray. It makes no sense to keep them if no big trade is made, especially since Lacob has pivoted to being cheap.

I’m a life long Suns fan, but when my team went thru its dark decade I watched a lot of Steph and Klay do amazing things in the NBA. Love the memories of the Dubbs cooking the Cavs. My honest opinion of the Dubbs is they took the NBA to another level and had the best backcourt duo in NBA history. Best of luck Klay and the Dubbs. Don’t like that Klay went to Dallas, but Dallas needs a sharp shooter. Klay is one of the best ever!

The front office is a joke. Mess up on your #2 pick on wiseman. Didn’t let a #2 pick play enough to learn by making mistakes. Next year had 2 lottery picks and didn’t let them play either. They rode the veterans to their DOOM. If they weren’t going to develop them might as well trade them earlier for semi young players that could have help the big 3. If they weren’t planning to keep Klay they should have traded him last year before the the year started or during the trade deadline. Giving turnover Poole a huge contract and getting Chris Paul and him leaving for nothing. Mistakes after mistakes
This is a perspective of the situation front office and coaching staff F ups I can agree with. Literally NO ONE seemed like they were on the same page after the 19 finals. Klay desperately felt like he had something to prove to a fault after coming back from injury. The team prioritized his feelings over winning. Draymond putting his issues and anger first. Steph not pushing the front office to choose a direction and kerr prioritizing the vets to destructive degrees.
The Wiseman pock was a disaster. JK and Moody is different. The team was competing for a championship so getting teenagers playing time wasn't and shouldn't have been a priority. The won 2 years ago when they were rookies so thee idea that they should have been getting minutes is dumb. The 2 timeline plan led to the demise of the Dynasty, not leaning into the core.
The downfall was when Dreymond went bipolar. Add that to Wiggins going from finals beast mode to now least mode. ..
WIseman was a gamble, a huge payoff or a huge bust.
Why is Dunleevy the GM? He had everything handed to him, the draft, Bob's #2, and now GM.

Lauri can move needles, the scoring he can give can lift us to 6 seed or higher. Look at the standings of all the western team, they are all not too that far from each other.

Some of this is on Steph LeBron is a guy who gets criticized, but he doesn’t care that people give him nicknames like legm. If curry is going to sit idly by and not put any pressure on the organization then maybe he’s fine with the Olympic team being the last championship caliber team. He is going to play on before he retires and if he’s content with it, then I’m content with it. I’ve been following him since he was at Davidson in 2008 and I’ve grown to like the Warriors, but I’m in Texas so I’ve never considered myself a Warriors fan but a Steph fan.

Zach Levine gets worse in the playoffs, and at least Wiggins tries harder in the playoffs. Markanin is not available to the Warriors. We don't have as much value to trade as OKC or most other suiters. I don't think Markanin is going to be traded at all.

Yea it would suck trading away ur best player in franchise history but if ur going nowhere and lack young talent and picks to kickstart a rebuild then trading Curry can be a great way to rebuild and set yourself up for future success. This is only possible if Curry requests a trade tho because there's no shot the warriors GM would trade away Curry it would be a PR nightmare and look really bad even if it is the right move.
