It’s wild that back in 2013 I started with brostep and it took me all those years to circle back to the music I should have been bumping all those years ago. I’m glad I didn’t stay a cringy headbanger for long tho.
This is the kind of track that with the right speaker system- you're engulfed in a soundscape of bass, and it's sex for the ears... One of my all time fav Dubstep tracks made in recent years.
Dudes like Truth, Kaiju, Swindle and ...ahem...myself (K-Skoo) ...staying true to real dubstep. My releases on SC don't reflect that too well but hey. Long live the nasty deep vibes!
+Israel Tavares I love making oldschool sounding tracks, heres a track I made that is has some pretty nice oldschool wobbles in the first drop (soundcloud.com/aesra/notorious-straight-ballin-jools-g-remix), if you wouldnt mind checking it out :) (I am just an amateur though)
Can somebody of you guys tell me if what Kromestar and Hatcha are doing Deep Medi is? Is Deep Medi a Genre at all and if so, is it kinda predecessor to Dupstep? Thanks ;)
MegaPollo1234 There are nights in Chicago here and there. More often than not they are one-offs (rather than regular nights) booked around a bigger artist, as is often the case with more niche genres. For example Vivek, Kahn, Mala, Swindle & more have come through within the last year or so. This just means you have to be more vigilant of shows rather than depending on a single crew for consistent bookings. For example, Addison Groove (aka Headhunter) is coming to Smart Bar in January. I doubt he'll play too much deep dubstep like this, but its a start. Happy hunting!
If ever find yourself on the east coast of Australia there are a few soundsystems operating out of NSW that put on dub and bass nights, Grounded Sound are probably the first that come to mind. But down here a lot of decent underground dance music almost side-steps the clubs entirely and is almost exclusively played at 'bush doofs'. Hence, if your best bet to hear warm baselines is usually a few hours away from some major city and playing on a bass music stage, often at around 4am. On that note, if you are ever in this part of the world, look out for Prowler Dub Soundsystem. Best on the east coast if not the country.
Music for middle aged men to nod along too in dark clubs.
Dam right 🔥🔥🔥🔥
At home also 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Saaaaame. Some of the 2010-13 Era still bangs, but this shit truly stuck with me where the rest makes me kinda cringe when I remember
Krome is the number 1 deejay

Is it dubstep or just dub?
@@SparxsbtwI'd say dubstep personally, I don't associate the drum patterns or them synthetic wub sounds with classic dub / dub reggae.
the wobble is nice and dark, love these original sounds of dubstep

Deep Medi is a label that has some legendary releases on it. It is run by mala. Deep Medi is not a genre. Dubstep is the genre.
