For one don't call me boy am a man secondly I have, i think swatbot samurai reminds me of caspa so I am in two minds on that one an I can not say nothing bad about India sleeping as it has that og culture side to it
My fav Kromy track 10/10 love the intro drifting in with dub reggae elements .This Track needs to be blasted in the centre of kingston jamaica on those big ass sound systems . You just know eveyone would stop wtf there doing and spark up heavlyyyy lol
Never heard Kromestar until like a week ago...and I gotta say, I think I'm digging it even more than Skream. Love this....realstep? The best blend of mellow and not-to-slow.
this is no chillstep man, this is just a man producing roots dubstep. You can name all the tracks as you like but don't pretend to know what it is, cause it's just a sound kromestar did years ago... and it's pure old dubstep (not really as roots as loefah or coki but oldie) what I want to say is that the fact that there's no bumpin & no jumpin doesn't mean that this track was made to be called "chillstep"
its that fucking intro man its so dark and mournful love how the dub comes out through the ghostly female stream . I mean creating a track like this your blatently using more than fucking 10% of your brain. My first kromestar tune to bless my ears released 3 years ago AND HE STILL KILLS IT to this very day
This guy, Bassnectar, Sukh knight, many others were there when dubstep was born, and it sounded like this... This is da original dubstep sound! Do check sukh knight!
@Rezzidex i like it all man, im from the states and the first artist i listened to was flux pavilion. i understand the difference i what you're saying but what is the big deal. we're all supposed to enjoy the music, if someone describes it as dirty then it's dirty to them. this is more chill than Skrillex but you cant tell people what to say when they comment, especially since its a public forum. I respect your opinion but it wont sit well with most people. good day to you sir :)
@Angrycodplayer . it has something to do with the "BPM" or beats per minute.. dubstep is around 134-142, and when you measure the beats there are in a frame (a section of tunes that feels complete) it falls at 26-28 seconds, double that to get a "build-up" and you end with 54-57 seconds.. that's why :) some artists like to drop it early at 26-28, some would extend the drop to the 3rd frame at 1 minute and 24 seconds.. and so on now share this info to everyone else.
Why can't we treat music like the people that make it do? It doesn't matter if somethings "brostep" or "dubstep" or any genre. This stupid categorization we do just limits the boundary's of music. The best most cutting edge music that pushes the industry forward, be it mainstream or not, is the music that pulls from different genres and does its own thing.
Catch DEEP MEDI in Manchester (Just Skank) at Sankeys on the 14th October!! Mala, Goth Trad(Live), Kromestar, Silkie & Quest, Tunnidge, Vivek, Truth(Live), Cyrus, Hijak and many more!!
lol he was cool when he was just sonny, then he started making music for the masses. All you have to do is turn on the radio to realize music for the masses is the worst lol
kurt kincaid Right. Rather than catering to a specific taste, music being made purely for popularity relies on being heard over and over for people to like it.
damn this is one sick tune, kinda makes me feel like a wub, i mean if i were a wub and all my friends were all wubs, this is what itd sound like if we were all chillen
@Jorisjeh You can't create your own definition of music. The definition of music is - "The art or science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion." Which qualifies Justin Bieber, because he does so.
Any fool knows that Skrilex, who predated Kromestar in the dubstep scene and inspired nearly all dubstep artists since, is the greatest artist ever. [/trollbait]
You're wrong. He began making some weird stuff after he quit his band From First To Last (FFTL). Then, he added some touches to his music, started making brostep, and that's all. So you see now?
@mij194 i was trying to find some "good" dubstep that people were talking about but it still sound to me like something one would only appreciate if high on drugs.
I agree with you man, I don't think people are willing to accept that artists such as Skrillex, Knife Party and Zomboy are more exciting to listen to than the "roots" of dubstep :)
C'mon guys, we all have different music tastes. Personally, i don't like Skrillex but that doesn't mean i should go through every video commenting "OMG SO MUCH BETTER THAN SKRILLEX". Let's just all enjoy this good music and stop hating on each other.
//when you find dope bass. i accepted khromestar as my sample. when i talk about any old dubstep because i can remember his name and all of his songs are dope.
Hey I saw this comment on a Kromestar video that you posted like 3 months ago 38 people liked it so I assumed you knew what you were talking about. Anyway could you recommend some more good dubstep artists to me? Thanks ^_^
After all these years I sttill think this song captures the embodiment mood of early dubstep back then

@@HgHgHgHgHgHgHgHg Dub influence. Hence the genre name whose roots have been forgotten by the brostep kiddies.

Nahhh
kurt kincaid Little did Kurt know that months later Skrillex would collaborate with Justin Bieber.
lol he was cool when he was just sonny, then he started making music for the masses. All you have to do is turn on the radio to realize music for the masses is the worst lol
kurt kincaid Right. Rather than catering to a specific taste, music being made purely for popularity relies on being heard over and over for people to like it.

@Jorisjeh You can't create your own definition of music. The definition of music is - "The art or science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion." Which qualifies Justin Bieber, because he does so.
Can someone tell where I can buy or download this song? For some reason it seems to be really rare. I cannot find this track anywhere.
Thanks.
I recommend a pair of good 18's AND a powered sub :)

Any fool knows that Skrilex, who predated Kromestar in the dubstep scene and inspired nearly all dubstep artists since, is the greatest artist ever. [/trollbait]
wow, Linking their MySpace in the description, that's how you know this is old.
You're wrong. He began making some weird stuff after he quit his band From First To Last (FFTL). Then, he added some touches to his music, started making brostep, and that's all. So you see now?
@mij194 i was trying to find some "good" dubstep that people were talking about but it still sound to me like something one would only appreciate if high on drugs.
couldn't have said it better myself :)
Komonazmuk used to play this tune on his radioshows...
i never even knew who skrillex was, till last year, yet i still knew who brownz, requake, badklaat was.
Skrillex's music literally hurts my head, and i've never actually listened to a full song of his.
Bc you suck
Smoothness
This is kick ass Joche...
I agree with you man, I don't think people are willing to accept that artists such as Skrillex, Knife Party and Zomboy are more exciting to listen to than the "roots" of dubstep :)
if there was a rating higher than 5 stars, i would give it to this
Thanks for the other artist names, though. (:

C'mon guys, we all have different music tastes. Personally, i don't like Skrillex but that doesn't mean i should go through every video commenting "OMG SO MUCH BETTER THAN SKRILLEX". Let's just all enjoy this good music and stop hating on each other.
