Whoa ... did not know you were a light 'otaku'! I've been a member of Candelpower Forums for over 15 years, the high-light of my lights for offshore fishing in Japan was the $2000.00 purchase of a Polarion HID (4,,000 sustained lumens ... not so impressive nowadays) but waterproof to 200 meters. Now, I just browse through key chain lights a lot, and small lanterns for car-camping. Love the Hi CRI Nichia LEDs for easy-on-the eyes daylight color.
O-Light and Fenix make up the bulk of my edc lights ... which typically stay on the shelf or in the van's glove compartment.
I own an Olight i3e0T or something similar to the pen light, takes AA batteries. Anyway, mine I like as much as the streamlight I have, same size and all, but it's USB -C
I have almost every one of those lights plus alot more other olights.. I bought 1 and couldn't stop. I agree with you that olight just makes great, quality stuff.
Okay, you win. At my age, I'll never catch up to you in the "Who dies with the most toys" sweepstakes. I have to go down and pick up my bundle at the PO, but looking at the pile of light on your bench there is a challenge for me.
Lmao I thought that red and white flashlight was a bobber
A perfect light for your off-shore boating at night would be tge ace beam k75. Ive got the light and it will shine up 2500 meters and has almost no spill. Its a monster of a light.
I'll have to check it out... Thanks for the heads up
Are you gonna do a review on the new Shimano Vanford?
Anyone know who makes good pen/inspection lights?
I just used first video to pop up to field this question. If a 7' MF spinning rod has line specification of 6-12lb test ( mono) on rod, what are braid recommendations, is it based on line diameter or lb test? Can I put 15# to 30# braid on that rod?
Hey man.....Yeah....I often use lighter braid. 6lb or 8lb braid....Breaks without a knot at around 15 lbs or more....using 8lb to 10lb leader.....gain massive distance in comparison to 30lb..
Thanks for response. NOBODY talks about using 6# or 8# braid. How do you like it? I just spooled my BG 3000 with 8# braid. Cause of weather I haven't tried it out yet.
i have Olights and they are nice but they are not nice not putting a battery low voltage cut off because they want you to kill your battery so they can sell you a new one...if you look at their batteries its all mostly custom sizes they dont want you to buy a other types of batteries..still like them but wish they have a low voltage cut off 2.9v instead of letting the battery drain flat dead if you for get to turn it off
I'm not sure if its just my Olight or they all that have the same problem but I have a warrior x pro anything that's metal an can stick to back magnet have been able to turn my flash light on its highest mode without pushing the button in all the way just something to be careful with other then that I love the warrior x pro
really...that's interesting...The magnets definately attract things....but it hasn't turned it on..hmmm..I'd email Olight on that. Wouldn't want there to be an electrical issue.
Meh, I'll stick to my led lenser p7. Can't beat it.
I wish they never sold product at home depot......Such garbage I could never spend a nother penny on the brand. Same with Coast.......
@@TackleAdvisors Are you saying led lenser is garbage? I've had mine for 7 years now, never ever failed me. Its been to many fishing and camping trips. It will last me a lifetime. I've had one unfortunate battery gone bad inside but guess what, a new cheap battery cartridge and I was good to go again. Like I said, can't beat it.
@@DimiS1978 lensers aren't garbage but they also are not any where close to the level of olight. I own multiples of both brands and they aren't even in the same neighborhood as far quality and performance. Olight is miles ahead of any lenser product. But I definetly would not say they are complete garbage.
@@caseydangar1193 lol Olight better than Led Lenser, really? Thats a good one. I mean, it looks more "tactical" if thats what you are going for.
@@DimiS1978 i mean I got both so I think I know what im talking about. They aint junk but they are outdated technology and nowhere close to the quality that olight is. And the performance isn't even close. This coming from someone who owns multiples of both. My 2 and 3 hundred dollar lensers cant match my 100 dollar olights. You just one of them people that thanks what they got is the best. Well I got both and I can tell ya buddy, lensed aint it. Lol I mean they are sold at department store for christ sake. That should tell ya all you need to know. And so far its 2 against 1. 2 for olight and 1then you for lenser. See a pattern. Lol
