All my best, Shelly Fabares! I was an extra background artist working on the Burbank Studio lot at the time! My hat is off to a great AMERICAN ACTRESS! Go Dhelly! You go girl! I am Presently 69 and was 23 and Shelly 33 years old when we met on sound stage 26 in Burbank! I still have her autograph on her call sheet from Fantasy Island

My first crush at 10 years old. Shelley and Veronica the lead singer of the Ronnettes I was totally in love with until I got into high school. I still look for re-runs of the Donna Reed Show and other shows she was in. Now in my 70s I still have a crush on her. She is still beautiful to this day.
In the early '70's, I was privileged to join a small party that included Shelley and her sister, Nanette (who was named for their aunt). She was wonderful - interesting and humble, and I won't forget her graciousness.
Absolutely loved the Donna Reed Show...which I actually didn't discover until the late 80's/early 90's when it started running on Nick at Night when I was in Jr. High or High School. Of course my crush was actually for Donna Reed, I enjoyed the entire cast of the show.
As a little boy (I'm 68) I always thought she was pretty. Kinda like a bigger sister. Actually, I had a crush on her mother (Donna Reed). I'm happy she's had a decent life. Not easy in show biz.

I always loved her. I had a crush on her when she was on "The Donna Reed" show. (Like every other teenage guy). She was teriffic in "Brian's Song". I'm so sorry to hear she had so much trouble with her health. I know how close she was with Annette Funnicello and how she was there for her during her health problems. She was always a treasure to watch. 💙

I recall first seeing Shelley Fabares when she appeared as Rock Hudson-Cornell Borches' daughter in Never Say Goodbye. My early 60's movie magazines also covered her life and career in The Donna Reed Show which made her quite popular. Later in the 60's, she was Elvis Presley's co-star in Girl Happy and Spinout. Besides movies, she had a singing career and was modestly popular. She also did a lot of TV shows once The Donna Reed Show folded. Shelley was always the proper lady, on and off the screen and there were no scandals in which she was involved. She always remained politically right. Even today, for her age [she must be in her early 80's], she looks fantastic!!!

Shelley Fabares was born on January 19, 1944 and celebrated her 80th birthday today, January 19, 2024. She was on "The Donna Reed Show" (1958-1963) and the sitcom "Coach" (1989-1997) which earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards nominations. Her recording of "Johnny Angel" reached number one (#1) on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on April of 1962. It was a certified Gold Record, selling over a million copies. I was in eight grade at Miami Springs Junior High School when this song was popular

Fabares left the full-time cast to pursue opportunities in films. She eventually returned seven times for guest appearances (Season 6 episodes 8, 11, 14; Season 7 episodes 5, 15, 30; Season 8 episode 13)

I don't think there was any mention in the video of Shelley's part in the Brian Keith show (1972-74). I enjoyed the hell out of that show and wish they would release it in DVD form or bring it back on retro TV.

I cannot believe the misinformation you have put out in this video! 80% of it is not true! What is true you have the incorrect timeline! Shelley is an extremely kind and beautiful lady that I have admired since I was a child and have been personal friends with since the 1970’s. I am appalled that anyone would do something so shabby in connection to her life. You don’t even have the names of tv series and films correct! Why do you call it a spoof? A spoof is to make fun of something. This doesn’t come off as your making fun of her but rather a badly researched film that is giving out terrible misinformation about her life, her mother, her career and her health! I can only imagine what rig are saying about other actresses! This is shameful.

Wow! very attractive. Did a little research, so her mother who had Alzheimer's since Shelly was a child(according to Spoof) died in 1992, if true that is an incredibly rough life.
It’s not true! Like most things in this horrific video the facts are completely distorted and I am appalled they did this to Shelley! I have been her devoted fan since childhood and a personal friend since the 70’s and this is just disturbing to me!
