mirrors edge is too great to NOT include rpg choices and consequences, IT NEEDS THAT, ayayay this is why i look forward to me becoming a game designer maybe
For everyone who is wondering, this a mix of various songs by a Swedish artist called Solar Fields, who was commissioned by DICE to make the soundtrack for Mirror's Edge. I hope they ask him to make the track for Mirror's Edge 2 as well... the music really gave the game the mood that I fell in love with.
I've heard that EA are not bringing Mirror's Edge back because it wasn't popular enough (which is strange) & didn't appeal to a wide range of gamers. But there should defo be a ME2. This game is too awesome; don't stop the awesome.
my point is that it's electronically generated sound so whether it's from keypresses or notation or sequencers isn't all that important generally. More often than not a producer will use a synthesizer keyboard just to come up with the note progression, then those notes will be put into whatever software they use to produce the music.
I can't wait for Mirror's Edge 2 its might of might not come.. but in the mean time we can live a life as if we were in Mirror's Edge freerunning out way into places where no one can reach without a ladder
They are, check out IGN's website. They are trying to think of ways how they can bring back a second mirror's edge. EA says they are not forgetting about mirror's edge, they would have made it earlier if they didin't have a war between mw3 and bf3.
The Story of Mirror's Edge is like the story of Half-Life. Half-Life 2 Episode Three never saw the light, so is the Mirror's Edge. It is all because of the economical fundament of all the game developing in the world. If it does not give enough revenue, it is cut off. It is all the same everywhere. Plus, not all of the M.E. players looked into the storyline, for most part, they were just playing. They didn't seem to remain interested in what happened next. That is all.
The one thing I really wish that they do with M.E. this time around is provide more in depth character development and more fulfilling plot line. In the original M.E., I had only just honed all my running skills before the game hit its anti-climatic ending. I really want to be able to connect with the world of Faith, because really, video games are supposed to be about that escape from reality: doing something you would never normally do and connecting with people that you would never meet.

What I got from that: The masses have piss poor taste, and don't recognize true brilliance & innovation when they see it. They'd rather just play their next tired, played out, regurgitated FPS, rinse, repeat. They don't want to think, just mash buttons. And it's due to these myopic, simple minded numbnuts that we'll see a Halo 7 before we see a ME 2. Yep... I agree wholeheartedly.

This kept me going in 2012 when Catalyst was but a distant hope.
We now follow in your footsteps, hoping for ME:3 , to see the city of glass again and get a new solar fields album.
Ok, I found it ! This song's name is Leaving Home :)
Maybe if we all stop thinking about Mirror's Edge 2 it'll come round faster, but when we listen to music like this, it's hard not to.
This was me - I still have this mix on my iPod.
I hope EA will get it through their thick skulls people want a sequel to mirror's edge. The public demands it :)

The OST for the Mirrors Edge 2 will be called Hey Now by peter Bić Project!
Increible !! so deep i luv it.

Hey, what's the name of the first song ? It's amazing :D
But the story of Mirror's Edge having a sequel could very well be like the story of Portal 2...
@clubbingb I hope they do, they'd be fools not too!
Any ideas as to where the track at 10:03 comes from? I've been searching through Solar Fields and it doesn't seem to be part of their albums.
this would never be from any Solar Fields on the planet
yus
Any link to the pic at all by any chance?
Can anyone kind enough to post the song list here? Pretty please...
has it been 31:57 minutes already !?
Track list?
is there a difference?
Can anyone give me the name of all tracks used in this mix??

You were very nearly spot on.
