I filmed this ‘Pack With Me’ video before we left for a long-planned trip, which is why I haven’t been posting on my socials these past few weeks. A lot has happened since then.
You guys are important to me and I’m sorry for the stress that some of you have gone through after the recent allegations about Cosette. For anyone who missed my update last week (on my community post), I want to let you know I’ve stopped working with Cosette. I will help in anyway I can and please know I’m still continuing to advocate for full refunds for our community. I truly hope the investigation sheds light on all the unanswered questions (both yours and mine) as certain things were not communicated to me either. I hope it results in a fair outcome for us all.
Thank you to everyone that has reached out to check in on me, it truly means a lot. I’m glad to be back home and looking forward to sharing more regularly with you again.

Where and how did you pack your makeup, hair spray, deodorant, hair tools, all that stuff? That seems to take up so much space in my luggage.
Welcome back Mel! Quick tip for next trip- I use clear disposable shower caps instead of shoe bags- you can see the shoes, it protects the shoes and keeps the soles off your clothes, and they are very thin so they don’t take any room.

I learned the hard way not to overpack, especially going through Europe. I now only travel with a smaller checked in bag and one small carry on. I wash as I go but I also leave room for shopping. Life is too short to lug suitcases around 🤭

So interesting to see how you pack your stuffs. You should really try the vacuum bag especially if you are going during winter season
I stick with two colors and neutrals. I pack in my two carry ons, makeup and travel size skincare and etc. I have soft, large totes that I put my smaller bag in along with makeup, liquid things. In my regular carry on I get enough in there that I can get by on for quite awhile. If I check a bag I put extra clothes, shoes that if I lose my bag I won’t be heartbroken. Things like jeans, runners and basic neutral items that I can replace easily. Of course, that’s how I do it. I hate waiting for luggage and worrying about it. Off topic, a bit, I read that a woman got kicked off for wearing ten different outfits at the same time. 😂😂

I have used packing cubes for a while and love them. I pack clothing into my handbags to help them keep their shape (multi purpose!). I definitely pack fewer handbags than you 🤭

Welcome to Europe Mel! So nice to see your packning video. My packning tip is how to pack belts; lay them around the other corners in there full lenght in the suit case and there take practilly no space. Have a great trip! /Marie from Sweden
@MelinMelbourne - I recently purchased new suitcases with no zippers after my son showed me how easy they are to break into. Even locked. Just need a pen. No sign of it after because they just zip it back up. Now I can lock them and have some peace of mind. As long as they don’t take the whole bag🤔🤣
I’ve never rolled my clothing before putting it into the packing cubes. We’re going on a three week trip to Paris and London at the end of the year so I will try it. My husband just rolled his eyes when I told him I got the best idea from you so I could pack way more lol. Love your beautiful smile and your videos.

💚💚Hi Mel, I just returned from a 3-week Euro-Trip as well and use all your tips already. I would like to add my HACK of using those organization bags for electronic devices and cables with their many slots and sections...but I use a smaller version of these for jewlery, glasses frames (my second obsession after bags) and watches, that I put in my carry-on. This way everything has its own packing cube in easy reach AND it also serves as an organizer in my place of lodging...💚💚

Enjoy your Europe trip. Went to Budapest in 2016. Loved it! Ours was probably more of a budget experience than yours will be 😂 but it was still fun. Recommend an evening river cruise. I'm impressed with your packing. I only travel with carry on now (within Europe) but dont really have any luxury items to worry about 😊

I looked up reviews for the Samsonite Proxis. It seems that they dent and even crush easily. Good luck! I have a Costco brand suitcase that is actually the best ever, but they’re not made anymore.
Wow--you are NOT a minimalist when it comes to packing! I didn't see any toiletries, make-up, or hair tools or products, though. When I travel, that stuff takes up more room than my clothes! Have a wonderful trip, and I'll look forward to the vlog, and also what you bought. Enjoy!

My toiletries take up more room in my suitcase than the actual clothes!
My too. My toiletries, makeup stuff, hair products and tools take up a quarter of my luggage. Underwears. PJs. My solution is always these overflow items go into my husband check in luggage. He only need half the luggage space :))
