I'm trying to learn to quilt by sewing along with a sampler quilt. We do a different block each week, but this pattern is much easier than even the basic blocks they've chosen!

How big are your small blocks. I have 500 4 inch blocks can this be accomplished with them? Gosh I so appreciate your channel. Taught me so much.❤❤❤
Hi Vickie. The size of my blocks in the tutorial were 5.5". But you can use a different size. Just make sure all your squares are the same size. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

Beautiful quilt. I have seen the binding done like this, and they use washable glue and iron to hold the binding on and then sew. What do you think. Your tutorials are so helpful.
Hi Dorothy. I have not seen that method. I think it is cleaner and less messy to just fold the edge over, pin, and stitch. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
Which machine do you use to sew your blocks/clothing? Is it different than when you embroider?
I have been using a Baby Lock Versa for all my sewing needs but think there is a difference between a straight stitch machine only and an embroidery machine.
Hi Kara. I have 4 sewing machines - Huskqvarna Viking Sapphire, Baby Lock Triumph serger, Baby Lock Solaris embroidery and sewing machine, and Baby Lock Crescendo.

How much yardage of each color did you start with?
